There is a player here in Alsius who also has a Mage in Syrtis.

Last night i was a PP with 5 others. One of the hunters tracked a mage on Alsius side.

this mage then vanished so we did not give chase. A few minutes later a mage of same lvl appeared on Syrtis side and some gave chase and killed the said mage. On returning to pp we were confronted by a large army of Syrtis who outnumbered us 3 to 1. (not that i blame Syrtis for this at all)

Coincidence????? A big one if it was.

If you want to leave a realm and go play in another thats cool but when you play one realm against another and set up people who were friends and ones you have hunted with many a time that sucks big time.
trust goes out the window so does team play.
loyalty is a big thing to me and a lot of Alsiuns and backstabbing us loses you respect and friends and just makes us more determined to hunt you and kill you.
there are people in other realms i consider to be friends and i don't kill them as there are plenty of others to get my rp from.
i find it hard to play with someone then kill them 5 mins later if you don't know them it don't matter but when you do thats just horrible i don't like it at all.
i agree with Inkster to many coincidences at the moment and that stunk of a set up knowing the person involved.

It is supposed to be a bannable offense, i know, but the fact is that it happens anyway - but it's not the legality of it i'm interested in.

My opinion is this: i suppose players should have the right to try different realms and experience different aspects of the game.

However, i wish they would play for only one realm at a time.

I do not like it when a player who is my ally, on another occassion has a hand in killing me.

For me, it is an uncomfortable contradiction of the game...

i see what you mean, you want people to experiance other realms but staying loyal to one without being a spy. what about some item that allows you to go to another realm, suposevily you use and get teleported to the other realms gate from there you can talk to other ppl in general chat do quests to make the ranking more competative, also be able to make inter realm partys but not clans.

some people also do it to experience diferent races so maybe if when you make a new char now it can be an elf that betraid syrtis to go to alsius, betrtaying a realm can only happen when creating a char to stop ppl from constantly changing realms and it will kind of funny to see a goat in a desert,wood elf in ignis,dark elf in syrtis and dwarfs every where

Well I used mumble while I was on my Syrtis character the other day, and my friends were in Ignis, does that make me a spy?

I'm ok with it, actually sometimes when I see a friend from another realm I'd rather kill them than ones I don't know. Why should it be any different for people who also plays for syrtis?

The problem comes when you're trying to create some sort of tactics for your realm, and the opposite realm know them because they have an inside, then it's just to hope the insider won't barge out these tactics and keep their mouth shut so they can do their tactics in peace. If you get what I mean.

Sometimes in real life you'll probably play against others too in some sort of game, maybe even at a lan party (which most people in here probably have tried) I don't think you'd ever go kick someone in the nuts because he killed you or because he changed team and started playing on that team.

what tactics syrtis and ignis are morons at that alsius just does some entrimidating charge, they regroup at safe places then charge to another spot randomly killing people and when they are a the hill right next to stone some hunter go check and give the signal to go because no matter how many times i say its alsius everyone is looking towards PB, ignis barely tracks because we lloked like the same numbers one day in PB they came at us and died so fast i dont think they saw more ppl coming from columnas pb see thats why we have hunters

this has gonne from pathetic to incredably funny dont learn from your mistakes laught at them NEW SIGNATURE

Point is, I tihnk its very fair ATM until some other way is achived to talk to friends from other realms, then it becomes uneccasarry

Yes it makes you a spy.

Now go and punish yourself with a burning keyboard while you say "No Valorius dont come again".

Repeat that 5 times per day and maybe you will redeem yourself someday.
