I mean, msn doesnt works for us now, dont know why

Google's Jabber also does it, and that's why I like it. My conversations can be encrypted with an "off-the-record (OTR)" plugin, but generally I need to keep the records just to check links or to save the funny quotes!

Anyway... Everything you chat is confidential between you and the one you're chatting with. Making public without consentiment of the other isn't allowed, and you can request him or her to remove the conversation ^^

it is in the terms of use.

they are able to save it, read it and then they will look for the best advertising.

But everything is done by a computer, and I don't really mind about anyone reading my [insert adjective that could make most of the people blush, i.e.: "hot"] conversations...

It's a comunication protocol and service... That means it describes the way two clients send messages to the server in order to make both users chat.

AwD is working on a chat, he's having some problems, though...
