btw, try to play planeshift, the community is by far more mature than it is in regnum

also regnum is not a MMORPG, it is a MMOPG only because there is de facto no roleplay in the game and the game offers almost nothing to roleplay. For most players regnum is about the lvl of their character and the rp they get in war. It is not about sitting next to a campfire and having a barbecue after a hard fight, or about having some ales in the tavern after recapturing a fort. It is just about fighting. There is no ooc and ic division, no individual characters background stories...no individual weak and strong points of characters.

A real roleplay demands a more mature community than a game like regnum has.
But, to stay on topic, even in real online roleplays there are people, who are spreading harrassments, that's the anonymity of the internet...

I'd call it self moderation. and I believe Regnum fits the guidelines for the title of MMORPG.
It's massively multiplayer, and it's an RPG. But this debate has been going on since time immortal between what makes a game an RPG. I personally believe, If you can choose a role to play aka healer, warrior, mage, etc it's an rpg. I think another primary attribute of a rpg is being able to level up your character, but that's not manditory.
