When this is implemented in the int'l server i'm almost definitely going to stop playing, and this time for good.

I guess darkness and aura effects is the only thing that can't be dispeled, super nice ngd.

Confuse is not dizzy or knockdown spell.

Consider that mages will be able to cast Dispell skills only if they are not themselves dizzied, confused (1) or under the effect of Darkness (2). In such cases, they will still need another mage to do the dispell.

(1) Dispell is a non-damaging skills, so it falls in the range of skills disabled by the effect of Confuse.
(2) Under the effect of Darkness, a mage would be able to cast Dispell on an ally, but not on himself. And, as Vroek previously stated, nobody could cast Dispell on a character under the effect of Darkness.

Hm, this'll make the difference between organised/well communicated groups and disorganised groups very apparant.

Also pairings are going to be bloody annoying, Conj+Barb or Conj+Marks is just annoying. I don't mean on their own, you can tell when in a fort war that a certain conj is mainly supporting one person, this is going to make killing that supported person so annoying.

Bleh, I do like it though.

I dont think dispel can be casted on yourself att all.
Mass dispel also dont seem to work on yourself anymore, I might be wrong had no effect on but nothing showed up in my log about the mass dispel.

cooldown for dispel 6 sec and mass dispel 120 sec.

It used to be that if you don't target anyone and cast Dispel, it's cast on you... Only spell to behave like that. Has this been disabled?

mass dispel makes a spell like caltrips arrow, already super rare to see, totally pointless. DI already makes it very hard to use. This new mass dispel makes it pointless to use.

Or does the mass dispel mass dispel enemy positive buffs? (which would be 10x worse)

All the other mega areas are 3 mins. why only 2 mins for potentially the most powerful area of all?

And mass dispel will be equaly rare; a Conjurer has to give up Sorcery 19 (no Steel Skin, no Sanct lv 5) if he wants to have Life 19 (required imho), Mana Control 15 (more than required for Ambitious Sacrifice) and Staff Mastery 15 (for Mana Comm -- which is needed by the Conj himself to get mana back when he casts costly auras)...... and Enchantments 19 (for Mass Dispel).

As for Warlocks they have to give up one of their lv 19 trees (Arcania, Elements or Necro for most Warlocks).

Yes, it would dispel Caltrop Arrows, but also Sultar's Terror, Tremor, etc. An awesome spell if you ask me, and it will bring more dynamic into the fight and a huge role for "Enchantment" mages.
