AWD, it pains me to say, I don't think I can take you seriously anymore. You're *now* supporting a protest against changes in a free MMORPG.

The powers that be are not treading on the little people. We are not the revolution bringing justice to our virtual world. We are members of the forum associated with this free game, who have been given the opportunity to make suggestions. That's all.

Do I want Regnum back? I wasn't aware it had left, I've been quite busy playing it actually, yes and training my alts who are less than level 50, it's all still there...

There's just some changes, like there's been changes before, like some players don't like them, like there will be changes again. None of this is new.

From what I hear people are leaving the game more than ever, without the players there's no regnum. New players had a high tendency to drop out because levelling is boring, grinding sucks and there's no fun till level 30 for the average player.
With this fatique system, they will stop playing before they hit the war zone.

People were already leaving because of a poor game design, now even premium users leave because they think it's bullshit.

We're protesting because we like regnum, we like this game and how it was, but with this stupid system it's just no fun or the fact you are being forced to pay if you want to level up within the last few years.

User count looks the same to me darlin, maybe with all this forum posting your not actually signing in so much. All the criticisms about grinding are entirely personal, with the coming talk of monster powers I'm looking forward to it taking longer and being more challenging. Like an RPG really.

Poor game design, is it? If you say so AWD. Forced to pay? I'm spending all my Xim on horses, paint and health potions at the minute, my alts are levelling without scrolls as paint is to fun. And you know what, it's gonna take longer, I'm utterly devastated. Not.

Regnum will be here with or without you AWD, all you're doing is stirring up trouble and attention. Again, a point is sufficient, I'm sure the developers get the idea now, and are pretty fucking busy developing the game to react to the dozens of dumb protest threads. Leave them to decide where to go from here. Quit if you personally find it so terrible.

You know what, I've heard that before to.

I mean, perfect example. When Val quit due to the outrageous *rolls eyes* changes regarding hunters. Oooohhh such a long standing player quitting, shocking... That didn't last long did it. Other players that I shan't name specifically have quit every patch pretty much, over something or other, and are back playing and spamming the forums a few days later after their dramatic and oh so final exits.

Not yet taken out, not being taken out, being limited without premium. Theres's alot of room for interpretation there, but coming from people like myself who are sick of people reskilling for every fight, it sounds fairly fluffy as far restrictions go.

And finally I'm all for freedom of speech, and active user suggestion. But there's like dozens of threads on this now, none have anything intelligent to say, just bitching, whining, assumptions, and mob gathering. All about the same subject. I hope the devs just merge them, lock it, and acknowledge receipt.

yeah, taking longer, since you first really get to play in the war at level 50 with no worrying about grinding, levelling is now going to take longer unless they put in more quests.
And an rpg? Running around the war zone speaking two different real life languages is not rp, I thought you knew this, besides, very few people actually want this to be an rpg game, more like an mmo war game.

And yes, it is poor game design, but I mostly think it's the engine, have you ever tried opening one of the LUA files? It's filled with old functions which are not even in the game.

not new no, but never in such an extent, you can't chose to just ignore the poor game design with bugs, non working spells and skills, bugged guards, an empty help section.

This is something which affects all players on regnum, not just one specific class

If you read the thread again you'll also be able to pay with in game gold, before it was for squeezing money out of the users as much as possible, now it's just silly. They might as well keep it free, it's one of the cool features, plain war, that's what people want, not grinding. I would probably give more premium suggestions that people actually want to buy when I get some ideas on some war related items which won't affect war.

First it was 0 xp after 6 hours unless you bought xp scrolls which would disable fatique. Pay or get 0 xp.
or what about "/reset_powers creates imbalance in the game, therefore we are going to make it a premium item" now THAT's imbalance, later it was with gold, so there has definately been improvements.

this was likely changed in part due to observations made by DM , and probably others here, that if fatigue was set to 100% you could not get rid of necro until your fatigue reset. as you put it, and i agree, it is an improvement. it would adversely affect people who had necro and who went to war.

this part really confuses me. my statement *only* referenced forcing players to pay, so i'm not sure what purpose it serves in your rebuttal. surely you aren't trying to argue that players who didn't pay, and therefore wouldn't be able use /reset_powers (if it was implemented as a premium item), would somehow not be able to play the game....are you??? it clearly would imbalance the game. simply put, this is vacuously true but irrelevant. changes will be brought about in the game by posts like this, not by specious arguments and certainly not by puerile threats the likes of 'if you want your game to survive, then.......'.
