IMO there should be a way, not to force, but to encourage people to go to fort wars, but i also think that you shouldnt limit the free will of players.

PS: by hunters i dont mean the subclass, but people that like to hunt, i know many warlocks or barbs or conjs that love hunting alone. The ps is to clarify that im not implying that hunters are not usefull at wars, which actually isnt tru at all.

maybe those in the area afected. ppl hunting shouldnt be afected but ppl in WZ in their own realm being stupid hippys should get a negative efect.

People who can't afford to go to war have nothing to do in WZ Read carefully, i talk about people being in enemy realm territory.

Hunters can stll hunt, but they will have to fight for their realms, not like it is currently. And they will pay the price for hunting, you know it and that's why you're a bit anxious I'm shooting in my own foot too, i'm used to level in Alsius when i have my war setup

If you don't want to go to a fort, then i just wonder why you log in. It's a RvR game, people not going to fort wars are a bug that should be fixed like any other. Even with -10 stats you will be able to kill 3x levelers don't worry, since it's all that hunting people is able to do, and how funny it is to see them at fort wars.

Those people need some heavy penalty... if one of your fort is taken for more than 10 minutes and you're in enemy territory -10 to all stats. If all forts and castle are taken -30 to all stats if you're in enemy territory indeed.

Believe me, that would make people coming to fort wars instead of camping

For one, it would not make people to come to a fort to fight, it would make them simply
log out.

You cannot penalise people for fighting in another realm which is what your suggesting.
Ignis take pines a hell of a lot, is Alsius expected to sit at pines save all day witing for them?
I think not.

I do not like fort wars very much, one reason and i will give you an example from yesturday:
Ignis took aggers, i run down, lag crash. Log back in frozen to the spot crash, log back in lag dead crash.
This isnt much fun at all. (8 times in total)

Combine this with the numbers ignis use to take the forts, it is even less fun. As everyone knows (i hope)
Alsius is indeed the smallest realm by numbers, we have less lvl 50's than the other 2 realms. The newer
players do their best along with the higher lvls and that is to be commened.

However, when ignis are at pines in such a large number, it is not possible to take the fort back promptly.

As for a few going to meni save area, Did you not think this possibly could be a distractive tactic.
Also if there are people out of their own realm and a fort is taken from their home realm , why not take
an enemy fort, or even both. This would indeed make some of the enemies number dwindle as they would i hope,
go to defend their own forts (this tactic was used recently and it worked)

Many a time i have been hunting in a group when an Alsius fort is taken. It always doubfounds me when
most of the group either (a) run back to alsius when the journey can take up to 8 mins to get to the fort
by which time the fight is over on many occasions or (b) run to an enemy save to suicide back to fight in a fort
(why anyone wants to give away rp just to give away more rp at the fort is beyond me).

So in closing, i think your idea is not a good one whatsoever

Ok, i will just STFU for now (mainly because they're good points on what you say), but i'll have a proof of that behaviour for later use, be warned for the next "Us, Alsius are always outnumbered" thread :]

Ok, so if i lag like mad and i cant even get near a fort i should uninstall the game?. If i dont have the requierd level i should uninstall the game? If i dont feel like f* going to a fort war i should uninstall the game?
Or i have to go to safe zone, seat back and watch the flowers blossom?

You should benefit people fighting at wars, not punish the others.
