Yeah, I agree...AFK'ers are becoming a problem IMO. I really get sick of seeing a gay dance party at save while Ignis or Alsius is kicking the crap out of us at stone.

But auto-logging inactive players after a certain time can be completely avoided by simply auto-running in a circle, or against a solid object. I once saw an AFK'er at central save in syrtis running into a tree for over 4 hours...

running in circles is imposible to do while AFK...now the moronic gay elf humping the tree yea. now if NGD (no ofence but sriusly) droped some and made rules aginst this that tree humper would be banned.

think about it NGD should do something about game play, its a game danmit are they gonna leave these kind of pathetic AFKers make it imposible for us to enjoy thus disrispecting the game, well we are defending it why dont they ATLEAST back us up.

i got it: if they are running for to long but not moving anywhere...log them out

Stop trying to be nazi's. We're already restricted on how long we can level. If people want to chill for a bit and chat at a save with their friends let them. That's the whole point to online games.

I was thinking and came to the conclusion that I wouldn't mind booting AFK accounts after 5 minutes but count typing as activity.

I think you have no clue at all what causes the lags.
Pointing fingers at someone other than you is always easy but will not solve _any_ of the problems that cause lag, the lag is caused by software design problems (id really like to the the player clustering algorithm

) not the player count.
