perhaps what i've most noticed is that there are fewer organizers of war parties. while being able to play well is one thing, i think leadership is far more important.
Backe the time you play is by far when syrtis is at it's weakest.

Every single night the same ignis crew comes to stone over and over, yet none of the Syrtis players who face them every night have areas, none of these players have grasped the notion of casting MoD+Embes+charging en masse and unleashing with areas while the conjs heal our mod locks.

We can't even coordinate a massed fighter typhoon charge because most of the fighters that play that time of night for the most part don't charge. Let alone having typhoon. :-/

I love when i charge the fort, actually get a conj confused and another one to activate sanc, get the enemy turned around attacking me as i and a few other aggressive players sew mayhem, then rotating my screen to see that our army has not moved one step forward to take advantage of the situation.

Nothing like dying amidst an enemy army and knowing that your own warriors couldn't be bothered to do what they're designed to do.

Nothing like watching your army wiped out in a counter-charge and realizing that not one lock on your side has any crowd control skills at all.

Nothing like watching your allies shoot at every fighter, warlock, and archer the enemy has, but totally ignoring their conjurers.

Nothing like finally getting the enemy pushed to the gate, and then watching in frustration as your fighters waste time fighting every enemy that pops out of the gate for 2 seconds instead of beating the door down and ignoring them.

Nothing like being at the gate and having enemies pop out and cast typhoon after typhoon because your sides locks aren't smart enough to stand there with MoD continually cast. Nothing like watching the few locks who are smart enough to do it get cut down by enemy guards as no one helps them. It's only totally known that guards go right after MoD locks...and that they need protection.

It's pretty sad.

However, at other times of day we have some very good players who definitely know how to coordinate attacks better, and exploit opportunities, etc.

They are more great players and much much more bad players.

Well id say it changed not after beta. We had our fair share of great fights up to id say about, 7 montha after beta, that was a time when alot of the big names were moving on, changing the game drastically, and there are people that failed to pass on what they know, and the knowledge just died. Example. Night Twix -> Boger -> ended unsucessfully.

For instance in my own class, I feel I have failed Ignis, I failed to show, and I just gave up to these new barbarians. (Raging morons, with no balls to stand ground,)

Basically sweet and short the true meaning of war is dying down day by day. No new players will understand that, as they are just a new era.

On the contrary Edge, I'm proud to see that the number of blunt barbarians in Syrtis is increasing. I've been fighting along side of pretty strong knights too, like Aurons, that were leading our troups quite well, IMO, coordinating areas, and charges. And really I enjoy my daily playing with the GG, they are just awesome.

Hammer ftw!

Its not about being a blunt barb, or a slashing barb...

Its about being unique, not a kissass

I can't speak for Syrtis, but in Ignis I see lots of warriors, (the majority being fresh copy/clone barbarians) that act in a way I cannot explain, pure ignorance and arogance
