It's Satarco's sword. And yes it's a shame it's only Syrtis. I'm very happy that Valorius get one of this mighty sword for me. However all realm should be able to have such drop even if the name and background history is changed.

I found back on my IRC log the stats of the spears we looted from Evendim:

Pierce dmg 170-235 (+2 )
+25 freeze
medium speed,
attack speed +5,
hit chance +2

Every barb in syrtis has at least 1 of satarco's sword, I've looted it twice in my game life... Such a sword is considered a rare drop item in other realms... Not very fair

I never looted it and fought Satarco 4 times, so yes to me it's rare.

My Barbarian is a year old and I've only just now been able to obtain such a sword.

Furthermore, it's the only upgrade to the store-bought Great Claymore available, whereas other weapons have much better Fine Steel Enhanced/Superior versions that you can buy in the warzone.

Yes it is. It's a great weapon compared to great claymore.

Well 4 times isn't much, I've fought him maaaaany times. He doesn't always drop the sword and when he does it's not always you who gets it. So, you can camp him with clan mate, fast respawn, not many ppl camp him

I agree with the points mentioned before, but I really wonder why the rings of lightning don't really seem to interest others. The syrtis sword is really good, yes, but it is possible for other realms to get items that are more or less equal to this one.

The rings of lightning have 9-11 lightning damage and +5% attack speed. That is absolutely imba. With two of those and some armor with +attack speed you can turn a slow bow into a medium one easily.

Just imagine: Two warlocks meet, one of them is an Ignis (rings +attack speed and armor +cast speed that they have as well). Both have the same abilities and their equipment is similar. Same setup. The other warlock will never be able to win, cause the Ignis will always be faster while casting his Sultar/Beetleswarm/whatever

Of course the other mage can win if he is faster, better, buffed and the other one is unbuffed etc. it depends on many things. But the problem is that Ignis has one advantage that cannot be compensated through setup, items, abilities etc.
