Camping, what is it good for.!

I'm sure I'll catch some flak for what I'm about to say. The warzone belongs to me. All your forts are mine. Your saves are mine. The grass you walk on? Mine. If I allow you to use these things, count yourself lucky I'm in a good mood. As soon as you step into the wz, you're entering my domain. Prepare for war! I'm not save camping, I'm taking back ownership.

P.S. Although I believe somewhat in what I've just said, this post is to be taken light hearted and was stylized with roleplay. Just remember when you step into the warzone that you are voluntarily accepting that you are entering a hostile environment and should be expected to die. You have the option at anytime to remove yourself from the wz. Nobody is forcing you to stay and die. If someone is camping "your" save. Gather your forces at gate and do something about it. There are no safe zones in the war zone.

Ok, but this is a GAME.

I agree there should be no safe zone in the war zone, but Do you really need to save camp to play? Do you think is fair fight or even a fight at all to attack people while loading resources?
I mean, 15 high level against 3 low level is fun to you? Do you actually enjoy making other people feel bad?
Are you so afraid to lose that you need to fight 15 against 3?
I am not messing with you, I really do not get save campers.

Sometimes it is not as easy as "gather your forces", because the is a BIG difference of numbers between realms (and this is OFFICIAL statement).

I think at this game as a sport, there are good players and bad players, and the good ones are not those who win every battle but those who are fun to play with or against.

I guess it is permitted, I mean, a player is as good as what he kill so maybe I am wrong and save camping is intended for some player that can not kill anything in other circumstances.

Since the implementation of "Resurrect to realm wall" it's a non-issue. If you talk about what happened yesterday, Ignis took pines for long and nobody has come. Expect from our "mandados" to camp your save if nobody comes, because they're RP hungry.

The sad part is that when Alsius came in mass, all of those rp-whores got killed at 1km away from the fort (so no revive). We were like 30, and finally only Moon Princess, Andino, Alvaritoct, Harpist, me and 2-3 others from the "old guard" were the last taking care of the fort door, because we know that the Alsius attack will be zergish in those cases. I still remember saying to Gpomal « 2 waves and we're over because of those rp whores », and i was right

It led to a pathetic fight where we got heavily outnumbered, and even before the door was broken i was alone in the fort, everybody was dead

And this time i won't blame Alsius for hugging too much our dear Sultar because it wasn't the case according to the reports i had :P

I remember that Sathilda. Only few of us were falling back to the fort when the Alsius wave was wipe out. Others were following too much to the save.

However it's sad that people have the feeling of not being able to play because of camping. My idea would be to reduce RP given by a player after each death in an area of 20m of the save in the last 5 minutes. Which means after 3 death a lvl 50 would be worth 6rp.

First off, I never said I save camp. I think that camping a save is dangerous, and not worth the effort. I do however run by saves ocassionally looking for a fight if I can't find it elsewhere. Second, afaik you get rezz dizzy when you return to save, so that should protect you long enough to load resources. Yes sometimes it's hard to gather troops, especially late in the day and early mornings. I was just giving one suggestion to help deal with save campers.

Hi Community,

To avoid further problems, I'm closing this thread.

We are aware of this problematic and even if we applied some measures to counter this activity, they seem not to be enough.

RP sharing and giveaway system is being checked again to see if we can find a way to stop this trend.
