Alas I dropped a spear so I am now back to them.

just one doubt, for the blunt config, is better a medium speed hammer or you can use a very slow one?

There is a medium speed mace around lvl 46 or something (that's the fine steel version with +16 HC, highest storebought is 44 or something).

If you were to use very slow hammer, try to get an Abyssal or a Dragon Hammer. Multiple dammage can help a bit in some situations
