I myself hate Syrtis as well.
I shall remain a member of Ignis and never shall I stray to the side of Syrtis no matter how tough the path might be.

For the fun of the game. The people I have 'met' and talk to in-game and out of game. The hunting, the laughs and the occasional burst of anger and bloodlust.
Oh and the cookies

basically for the same reason as vroek and asdfgh
I like the rvr in this game, and the challenge when there is one and I think it's very unique and promissing, and the promissing part could have a discussoin of it's own but let's save that for another discussion XD. Last reason for why I play this game is the clan, I came here with it and I'm not leaving without it , all for one and one for all, let's stick together and fight forever |

I like to play it because:
1. It has a native linux client. (A pure 64bit installer would make it even nicer.) 2. It's free. 3. I like to play a game once in a while. 4. I never played an mmorpg, it seemed like a nice change from the always fast paced fps games. 5. You can dance, which is funny. (still waiting for the added ability of dancing in your underwear though ) 6. The community is good. 7. The rvr system is very good and it adds to the community spirit of both your own realm and all realms in general. (I mean: the competitive nature of the 3 realms sometimes spreads to the forum, which proves it's a good system.) 7. Valhalla is a good clan. 8. They made a special throne for me in Montsignir, though there is still this bug that causes an npc to keep standing in front of it... they should really fix that. 9. All the interesting classes are there, with the exception of the 'martial monk' class that I would like to see added some day ^^ 10. The dragons are cool. 11. The colisseum is a nice feature. 12. The game is still being actively developed. 13. There is a lack of good games on linux, this is one of the best available. 14. Fancy magic. Gotta love that power. 15. The music near the cemetary and especially the music in Gokstad. That's all I can think of right now ^^
