I lean towards the first, but try to place myself within my character to an extent . Personally, I have only 1 alliance, and that belongs to Alsius. I have been known to "hunt" with members from other realms, on a casual basis due to mutual respect. But being a seasoned WZ individual, I tend to kill whatever enemy I may run across. I do not/will not side with Syrtis as a realm alliance, but have been known to, as I said before, "hunt" with certain individuals. I would ally with Ignis before I would Syrtis. Just my 2 cents worth

i'm for the second, i don't agree with what u wrote only on arranged pvp's and realm switching.

Its just a game..
but it is war here

War is a killing your enemy with all means you have and keeping yourself alive..
If Im sure I wont win the fight I run away to get reinforcements or find better moment to attack but Im not the "lets drown" type.
Because of story line syrtians are my born enemies, I treat alasius as neutral till they keep theirs beards on theirs side of bridges

I prefer invading and hunting on syrtis lands.. I would help alasius against syrtis till it is in my (and Ignis) interest..but wont team*.
I will leave low lvl in peace till they dont too close to gate, forts, save or castle.. if they do I feel free to give them a lesson.. to remind them that its war here and people die here

*team - coordinated action that is taken after negotiations with alasius players ie. fighting alongside inside the same fort

I think its still just beta game (regardless of the number assigned to its version), but the people bring a little more to it.

The only part I get overly pissed about is during an invasion when ppl just grind and bark out orders and don't participate. Having a multiplayer realm vs realm game with out team players sucks, but hopefully we will get more folks on Horus>Alsius shortly. Also the invasion system has brought a difficult choice to the grinders who are trying to level, whether to participate or to continue grinding. I for one just can't stand when they chose grinding and then try to get involved with the players who chose to fight off the invasion in the realm chat. Other then that I try to just take my meds and relax.

Since Regnum has zero immersion,
i can't be bothered to roleplay.
I can only apply real life moral standards in-game.

The Categorical imperative is a good starting point.

I am both, depending on wat mood im in.

Sometimes i am in a bad mood and will kill all of enemy rlm players on sight. even if they run or surrender.

Yet sometimes i feel like goofing off. Use camo, go up to a random enemy rlm player, and dance. And wen i appear hes like WTF. But then he dances too

depends on who it is and what the situation is,

yoseba killed me as a lowly grinder once and i never forgt it..nothing i could have done anyways..i think i was lvl 37.

so since then ive cost him quite a few untimely deaths, always targeting him with ambushes, sudden strikes, keeping him targetting me while allies can catch up or get in their hits while i run

so i believe that has been paid back but still i dont like him, i admire his guts and his vengence to run all the way back into a pack of people even if its gonna get him killed just to swipe at the person who killed or got him killed. so its a funny sort of respect i guess.

another is domnicus dragon, do not remember if he plays anymore, but he was an ignis barb on ra, he ALWAYS without a doubt kept killing me while i was afk at save, either eating..doing laundry whatever. my own fault obviously, but one time i got back and just watched it, giggling over how someone was that rp hungry to kill someone obviously not even there.

i eventually got my revenge in the form of some syrtis knight or barb..i cant remember..it was late and we were the only ones at cs, and dragon was prowling around cs, along with 2 als knights trailing him, and i dont think they were too happy. so we helped dragon kill the knights, then killed dragon. he came back a few more times, but i was stalkered/camoed alot, and in his recon he always got ambushed and my friend would engage him, if he ran he would be stopped by ensnares and ambushes. other times i seen him id be so mad id chase and chase, sometimes all the way to pp2 and such. he hopped onto his syrtis account and asked me why are you chasing me so much lol what did i do..and i told him

and we chatted a lil, forget what we said but we seemed friendly enough towards each other.

another time i met a hunter 47 from ignis, i kept killing him just for the fact he always seemed to be in groups, so knowing i could kill him, id target him first. usually ending up short and quick or a long run to pb

i soon got a pm from some syrtis player saying good job..and i said huh..and he tells me he was the ignis player, and well we got to talking..trading tips and advise..adding each other on msn

we still attacked each other in battle i believe..but we had lapses of an alliance (we took alsius castle by ourselves..took FOREVER hitting the door, killing the guards, and then he captured flag..so i ran up stairs and logged off, so we can resume our wandering of alsius as i couldnt get out of the fort any other way. i think we died at trelle after that.

so its a game for me, i like having fun, of course i like killing people, or being killed, but i have to remember theres a person just like me on the other side.

i hate being zerged, we all have done it, but theres been times i just am not part of the pack, and ill lay down my weapon while someones fighting a player we've found, he deserves at least a fair fight. sucks being hit about 5 times a second and dead..ive had that enough times to know how frustrating it can be.

i never spawn camp either, i rarly take part in fw now, i just hang around cs with friends, i defend my surroundings but i honestly am a pacifist..i dont like fighting..funny..

Hmmm depends...somewhere in the middle for me then. For me im genuinely interested in the people that play the characters, im a born people watcher. However war is war, so you have to switch off and just get on with it, to make friendly connections with realm mates and realm enemies just solidifies the game and makes it more enjoyable..well for me anyways.
