well, i prefer the premium content method of one reason:

its better than Pay To Play, because then you can decide whetever you wanna pay or not.

Some things would however need to be fixed, in my opinion.

Horses - You shouldnt rent them, you should buy them and then you can use it for how long you want

Experience - .Well.. Buying experience is one thing that may affect the game balancing.

Else, the premium system is great.
This makes you earn money, and we wont need to pay for playing

If you want get money from the game then i think better way will be donations and selling stuffs that doesn't affect game market. Even subscription is better than premium content. With subscription you pay some cash monthly but if you can't buy things for real money then there is no way to unbalance market. You character strength doesn't depend on how rich you are in real world but how good player you are.

Without them earning money there will be no game at all. And yes, people who support the game financially get more powers, doesnt sound unfair to me. They are the ones making you able to play
