I know about this already, it only changes the keyboard language, I think I need to do what everyone above told me, reinstall the system because the system files are written in polish, everytime I install something the default is polish.

I tried to boot from the old XP CD but yeah was missing the drivers, it should work with the SP2 CD, anyway thanks everyone, im downloading (illegaly ftw) SP2. I'll see how it goes from there.

When I installed Windows Vista at my HP mini-note I got a warning during installation that the language I selected now could never be changed unless I reinstalled.
(My HP mini-note uses Ubuntu 8.10 now, btw

)

Yeah unfortuntely you can only change the language on the Vista Ultimate & Enterprise versions.

I'd go for Windows 7 over XP, even though the current beta does expire in August.

Damn, ive run into another problem now. I made a SP2 CD but for some reason it dosen't boot. It has autorun config in it, but I can't open it..

Any ideas?

Uh?

You have to burn the cd, then put it in the cd-rom device, then go to the bios and tell the pc that you want to boot from the cdrom device BEFORE that from the HDD, then let it run, the instalation will start.

If you are doing that:

Then:

1) The copy its bad, has somekind of protection, from filesystem...

2) Start RAGING; it usually works.

High quality stuff.

Only very professional people doesnt care to fix bugs (feature for windoze devz) that has been addressed twelve times and has example code spread over the entire universe because they cant waste their time in such basic stuff

Yes something must be wrong the copy :/

I already put boot disc before hdd.
