"Gee, I got a new level today, gave and got some rp is a few good skirmishes, finally got enough points to fill out my build a little. Over all a good day. Let's end the day by getting pissed off in a lopsided RP chain clusterfuck at agg that's going to cost me 20k in repairs." Great idea. No thanks. Call Ikea. Those red flags at agg are starting to look like shit.

Muspell
Hiya,
on muspell things go really cool, the fact that we try to concentrate on avoiding the pressure of having to attack 2 oof our realms forts( more than likely a castle and a fort) is pretty uncomfortable so you try to take your own back as fast as possible.. attacking is only really made if you've got all your forts or you're 1 min away from the one you actually wanted to attack... Another thing is that there are loads of players on muspell which (if you don't lag) makes an excellent evening entertainment out of the whole thing ^^ |

I wish more people always in the WZ round the clock. Alsius 'has' to lvl in the WZ to get to 50, it would be nice if all realms had to do this. This way hunters would always have targets, and realm high lvls would have grinders to defend. Although I suppose Horus could just use more people period, with a bit more timezone (around the clock) consistantly.

Don't get me wrong. If there are enough for a strong party, don't hesitate to invite me. I'm just not going to join the RP chain gang anymore.
I'm using an alternate build for grinding, so heading into the wz means long run, birka, reset run to agg. The last time I did that, we all died several times, realized it was futile, and logged after 10 min. If Ignis really wanted a fight, they wouldn't show up with guns to a knife fight In effect, they are saying: Hey Alsius. Why you don't give us free RP anymore? I only have 10,000. That make me :'-( As far as no more good fort wars, I was in 3 this weekend that lasted over 2 hrs each. Two were pretty evenly matched. The last one at Meni, we ended up doing exactly the same thing Ignis usually does to us. I collected a cool 200 rp, but, It cost my poor hunter dearly for the UberGuard. Have fun spending my money Efrendi ;-)

Guess its different,
When I play in fort wars, they usually last a long time. I know at Pines for example its the same, Ignis just plays its way cool and waits out, then when we hit its from a position of power. Usually Alsuis gives up eventually, and Syrtis topples us slowly one by one. When Alsuis dosen't feel like fighting, then hell yeah we're going to move to another fort. Not our fault, this is war, and there are plently of mouths to feed with it, you just need to want it. Quote:
Its been turned against us, but just remember who was in the weak realm when Horus started, |

Not that I dislike these realm differences, I think it makes it interesting. However I really enjoyed defending the old Menirah save and its grinders on Ra. More incentive for people to grind in the WZ would be nice. More targets for hunters, more reason for counter or defensive hunting.

I was saying that because I thought you were implying that Alsuis needs to level before they really do something in war, im saying its the same case in Ignis, except in Ignis most people already have war ready chars. If you are talking about people grinding in the warzone, although Ignis has Mele Beach for those that prefer to grind in saftey, some grind in the orc camp and are killed on a daily basis by Rulez and Pano. |

With the reduced spawn rate if you have more than 3 - 4 people on the beach it becomes pointless and you have to seek grinding spots elsewhere. With my knight I level 44 - 50 of eferias beach simply because mele was too crowded.
But yes the option is still there. However, I'd like to know why samal save was moved. Did I miss a post about why they changed the spots or something because now Ignis has 2 southern saves and 1 northern with nothing in the middle. Just idle curiousity from looking at the map but still. |

I think they moved the saves to make forts more accessible, which only made it worse in some cases, like Trelleborg and Samal. Menirah save was moved afaik to help against save camping, which now happens at the orc camp. I know this isnt an accurate map, but bear with me, because this is how it is: |
