With my lvl 40 knight or my lvl 39 marksman i am unchallenging for 1 lvl 50 ? I was more speaking about lvl 20 or less, about unchallenging opponents ... who dont have to be in wz unless with suicidal tendencies.

I'm also curious about the current algorithm for RP, especially how points are distributed between the attackers depending on dmg given, dmg taken, auras on allies, non-dmaging spells cast on the target etc.

Perhaps it is the same algorithm for xp distribution within a grinding party. I have the impression the latter is rather broken. I have noticed that sometimes when grinding I, with a marks, have had to deal the prey almost 50% of the damage to get any xp at all. In those situations, it is virtually impossible to work with normal hits, even with a few points spent on recharged arrows. I haven't had the opportunity yet to made controlled experiements with it, but I suspect it has something to do with knight auras. Does a knight get credit for casting protective auras, even if the protected party members didn't actually take any hits? (i.e. the aura didn't do any good, really) The effect then is of course that the casting knight will get less GRP xp too, so it is just bad for everyone.

If it is the same algorithm for RP distribution as for XP distribution, it affects not only RP but levelling speed too and also maybe chances to get a drop, or reward for taking an upgraded fort or participating in a dragon killing?

I compared my Marksman with my Warlock. (Both Level 50)

On the Warlock I get much more RP, cause I get RP for casting Mana Communion and for casting spells like Sultars...

On my Marks, most of the time I get RP's like

1
2
1
1
3

That's not much...

Dear Bmaster, in case you did not catch that until now: Knights are a class that normally does not make much dmg but are there to protect others (in different ways). Protecting others (for example with Cover) helps allies a lot and has to bring some rp - that is only fair. To say that knights do not work for their rp is like to say the same for conjureres, that do not kill anybody and "only" heal and buff and give mana, or to say that barbs do not deserve their points because they consume so much support (mana, heal, protecting auras) or to say that any ranged fighters get rp for doing nothing because they just stand on the wall (maybe under cover of some knights and near some mana giving mages) and do not fight in close combat and defend theirselves.
In short: It is just nonsense!

iteomagazu its same for conjurers! Most of them just stay and cast auras so they doesnt need heal ally and synergy. Yes, that help, but its NOT enough. Thanks!
