Or just make it go back to what it was before. Im in my 30's the lvl you kinda need pets(or so im told)..but i cant bring myself to use them because of this "You are too far away from your summon". When i didnt have revive it was intensely annoying to have to go tame yet Another pet. So is it feasible to play without a pet at my lvl?

All captured monsters should gain a constant bonus 5% mobility of what their hunter currently has. It should not be a skill we have to upgrade, it should be a rule that is built into the game mechanics.

Hunters are the slowest class? Don't think so.
Archers and Warriors have speed boosters by default, while Mages have to wait for someone to cast Onslaught[5]. Ideally pet speed should almost match it's owner if the owner casts a speedboost spell. |

Yes....but do pay attention to the origional post. Reason it is said that hunters are slower is because we go 30m and have to stop to wait for pets. It's a hit at NGD to fix it...

Actually there is one class slower than a hunter with a pet: a conjurer with a summon.

The point is that pets dont keep up, and thats not just as you run to catch some enemy it also has trouble keeping up when you fight mobs, unless you stand in one place. move around and the pet spends all day running after mob or enemy getting a wack in every now and then when it does catch it. granted when it does hit it hits hard. but this is just anouther reason why i do not use a pet, and untill its sorted i cant see me ever using one.

Once you get use to the new pet commands they are pretty great....... with the exception being having to stop and wait. It is not always like that, I was hunting with a friend last night (we have the same pet) and his pet was right behind him most of the night while i was constantly having to revive mine due to getting too far (if i'm chasing down someone, i'm NOT stopoing and waiting for my pet). He was laughing at me because i had to revive pet at least a dozen times It must be a bug since it does not happen all the time....
On that note, if pets have mana, why not give them skills as in speed and special hits? Whats the point of mana without it. It must be in NGDs plans and i really cant wait! |
