Completely unofficial server status image - Page 2

May I propose including a character poll as well (for the time you take care of the community aspects)?
My server's moaning about parsing the highscore lists for Clan stats

A character poll would be nice for customized avatars, too (without parsing the highscore).
I wrote a program to do so but stopped the service - so this is a static image atm

I have coded a cript that shows the Server Status AND the War Status on our german Fansite.

You can see it in action at http://regnum-online.de/

What do you think ?

well if there was a way to put the war status in english would be awesome..

if there was anyway way to do that, can you let me know.. i want a english war status on my page.. would really help if i knew how to do it.

Changing the language is an easy thing.

I don't want to give out my script, but maybe I can use the gdlib to create an image.

I'll keep you informed...

Hey mute,
how about you offer an rss feed for the war status and the server status?
That way it's not needed for everyone to download and parse the official regnum page that much.
I would do that myself but my internet connection is rather unstable (beam radio, that disconnects often) and I have to upload all data via ftp to my webhoster (with ftp upload down quite regularly). If your setup is more dependable it would be a great thing.

I have never programmed an RSS Feed so far.

I am just developing a War Status grafix. (Below is my first idea...)

It is not connected with my DB so far, so this pic won't change.

Also I think it's possible to create my own Warmap file instead of loading the grafix from the regnum page.

I will continue programming at the weekend. I'll keep you informed...

it would have been nice if the server status looked like yours, or somewhat similar, the image is to big and therefore looks kinda lame to be on a page.. it should be resized.

What about the colors ? Is it ok, or do you want a transparent background ?
