I know. I mean, sorry, but hilarious. So many of the people that I run into play Regnum simply because it is arguably one of the best MMORPGs available for Linux. Heck, nearly half the people that I talk to, it seems. Heck, when I was with the Winged Wolves, we would get into long, great debates over the pros and cons of various distributions in the clan chat, at times. Oh well.
Note: Since I refuse to run Windows (at home), this is a big reason that I play RO as well. Last edited by Windrium; 08-13-2009 at 12:00 AM. |

To the development staff,
No negative comment was intended, I hope you are not discouraging your paying customers from reviewing the privacy policy that was linked to my deleted post. I remain concerned since instead of addressing the issue it was summarily dismissed and deleted. The game community has a right to be informed and know the facts. Please address the issue with more than : "We did our homework, it is not the case with Regnum and we would prefer not to allow negative comments about our partners" Will NGD privacy policy change in regard to the new partnership? This is a legitimate concern , its my credit card information;surely you can understand why this worries me. again respectfully G

Also, I don't understand your concern about credit card information as NGD has never access to your credit card information (everything is handled by a trustful partner such as PayPal) I am trying to clarify that nothing has or will change because of this partnership. This is why we deleted your post as was informative BUT misleading. |

Thank you very much for your reply Chilko, no misdirection was intended, I took all information directly from their own websites privacy policy statement.
Thats where the credit card info concern came up,they dont have the same policy as you. Again thank you so much for your timely and reassuring reply. regards G

If you see the list of bad things in the description, it is included the tiredness. You could complain about that. And we may write that complaint, you know we do it well (?). |

Linux Support plus Mac Support via VMWare/Parallels or Darwine/Crossover Games (Mac port of Wine) should be noted. |

I would agree that - at least on Horus - in my experience a much bigger percentage of the higher level and longer playing players use Linux as was once announced by NGD as the percentage of overall users.
While I do think that there is next to no other choice for a F2P MMORPG with focus on RvR on Linux I also assume that Linux users interested in such games stumble across Regnum themselves (like I did) whereas Windows user likely need a small nudge to stumble across it. Nevertheless any advertisment for the game should include Linux support as well of course. As for the main topic: Congratulations NGD for the new partnership, more players for Horus means more fun and less stalemates. (I hope some will choose Alsius though )
