I do believe in such things as Angels and Demons but also Alien life i share the same view as Umaril, in that we cant be the only sentient life out there but i have a theory that 'We havent come close to breaking the speed of light. So how have they' I dont mean to say we humans are superior to all races but the theory of relativity has not been proved wrong yet so all scientific fact points to that it still cant be done. Thus intersteller travell would take thousands of years and more than likely a longer life span than what sentiant life has. So yes i believe 'we are not alone' i believe it is very unlikely that we've been visited.

As for Angels and Demons its personal opinion and thats it i wont try to force anyone to my point of view (thats for christians to do ^^)

I believe in ghosts in form of human souls with bad karma, or that have died in bad ways.
I do not believe in Angels but I am interresed in Demons. I do not believe in them, the stories about them are just very cool.

I have to agree with gawyn on this. We most definitely are not alone, how dare we believe were the only life form in this galaxy. But interstellar travel is another thing entirely. We are not alone be it a slug type thing on a far off planet or an equal or more intelligent lifeform. As for the "visits" and such we can only guess. unless the military admits to such....will never happen tho cos were all sheep, we panic when someone else does. Its still a pitchfork culture tho we are changing fast and governments need to accept this.

There probably is intelligent life somewhere else in this universe, but I doubt very much we'll ever contact them. Intergalactic travel or communication is just too hard.

i do not belive in angels or demons, that is only an attemp of personification of the good or bad of the people.

and i believe in aliens (life outside this planet) but i do not believe in aliens sightings right here right now.

lets use logic:

time is an infinite line, and the space that we know is represented by 3 axis that are infinite too, so, we are facing a conjuction of 4 factors that are infinite, that kind of coincidence for me is impossible.

maybe if universe use NGD´s random generator...

Im an atheist, i have no belief at all in such unrealistic things such as angels, demons, or gods.

However i am 100% certain that in this unimaginably vast universe that we are certainly not the only sentient form of life. To think otherwise is simply hubris of insane proportions.

Earth is 1/3 the age of the universe given current evidence, look how far we have come (from an evolutionary standpoint, excepting social idiocy) in just 4.5 billion years, and look how far we have come in the last century. Split the atom, put a man on the moon, sent vehicles into space, created computers, mapped the human genome. All things things were barely a concept 100 years ago. 9 Billion more years than this to evolve and create, its unimaginable that there is not sentient life other than us out there.

As far as 'god' goes. Most zealots will call it blasphemy to suggest that god is an alien, but why not. Even biblical references, which, in even the best of times are less trustworthy than a New Jersey used car salesman, would seem to give empirical evidence that god is an alien. All that coming down from the heavens and creating the world in 7 days and all that jazz. I find it far more likely that we are some alien petri dish than that some all powerful, immortal, all knowing being just sprung into existence, snapped his fingers and created all this.

Based on the track record of religion, id say the universe is far too complicated for religion to handle
