Vanguard skills should be recheck, almost every skill is useless. It would be nice to have some skill of resistance, like acrobatic, anything. Troll's skin should be a passive, just like mana pool, and have a passive of const that we al ready have, and one of life. It's have's no sense to me, to be all the day casting Troll's skin, the only thing it does is brake the balls.
Overpowered:If some of the changes i mentioned should ocurred, like a skill with more resistance in knight, that if think it's a must, Army of One will be definitely overpowered. In the moment we depend of it almost all the time, but is a overpowered skill, i think nobody can deny it.

i think it wasn't necesary to name each skill that should be changed, because we have so much shity skill that they are only for decoration and the post would be very long, and i'm not a master in balance neither redifining skill.
This are just my ideas, i believe they would make the knight much more playable. It could be resumed in:
  • Real resistance
  • Real skills for allies support

I hope i made my self clear, and sorry for my english, it's not my native tong.
I have no problem with the tactics tree. Feint, Kick, and Caution are awesome skills.

Warrior's version of acrobatic is Caution btw...(and its good)

I dont use troll skin but at level 47 i have 4,447 hp. I prefer passives to constant buffs. Those are 4 points i can use somewhere else. If they can cut through my hp fast, doesnt matter if i have another 450, even I hit over 450 damage.

I do think there should be a spell we can cast on conjs that passes damage to use, at a reduced amount, i.e. a conj gets hit for 200 but it is passed to me and i receive 20.

Army of One is only considered overpowered by those who arent knights. I dont use it at level 5 because of mana consumption. Having little over 1,000 mana, wasting 500 on a spell like that seems odd. I use level 3.

I do think the passive block needs to be replaced with passive resist to all damage, lvl one being 30% resist, going up by 10% from there, and taking a level 5 army of one down to 50% resist to all damage IF that passive was made would be ideal.

Acrobatic is resist damage, caution is +armour. Evasive tactics is the archer version of caution. If you have bad or very bad resistance to a certain damage type, caution doesn't effect it very much, and if you take lots of dmg in one hit caution doesn't effect that very much either. +armour spells are mainly good on DoT's and archers, while resist dmg is good on higher hits, since armour works by subtracting a set amount of dmg.

Archers can have both evasive tactics and acrobatics in one discipline, and compared to frenzy, not only does acrobatic have protection against both physical and magical dmg, but on lvl 5 it has 10% higher resistence. Barbs have to put points in both wc and tactics for this kind of defense and knights don't get a dmg resist spell that's even as reliable as frenzy.

I beg to differ, as I play a knight as my main character and first character. Army of One is overpowered and has been ever since they increased the duration from 30 seconds to 50, the -100% evasion they tacked onto it as well is insignificant. Army of One should be returned to its original state and blocks or another type of consistent reduction should be added to knights.

Army of One is mostly a problem for mage that doesn't (cannot) use mental and statif field. As an archer I laught when I see someone chargin me with AoO, just keep running till it ends.

In my opinion Army of One isn't overpowered because of the huge list of counters against it.

Lag and positioning frustrates me.

I like some skills and dislike others but what drives me crazy is being at a fort or bridge and selecting an opposing player then running next the them. They move and I move. I'm on top of them, next to them, beside them I even get infront of them so they are looking at the back fo my head. The messages at the top of my screen "You are out of range" "You are not facing your enemy." Mean while I am getting my ass handed to me by a bunch of archers. Finally a kick lands and instead of hitting the down player the game again indicates that I am "out of range."

Strafing has made these problems worse as archers wiggle backwards at forward running speeds.

The other sistuation, the enemy attacks, a group of iggys movies forward and the pings goes through the roof. I hit the back button or a skill, nothing. I am frozen. 20 seconds later finaly when I can move again...I am dead and have like 30 hits on me, I of course hit no one.

These problems drive me insane. It makes the idea of playing a warrior very unappealing to be constantly frustrated by these kinds of problems.

Underpowered shield tree.

Remove shield tree, remove block, replace it with Armor Mastery.

Lets face it, block is too hard to do right, its too spotty at worst, and too op at best, so junk it and make a knight do what it does best, tank damage.

Keep the skills unrelated to block there, turn the block passive to an armor passive max at 25%

Replace protector, as Brian said, with an Low pro like skill, same duration, same effect, different desc.

I dont know what to do with PB, maybe move it higher in the tree and turn it onto acrobatic (could limit it to 20% resist all damage since the armor is so high).

It would make knights reliable, and quantifiable. Perhaps even make people attack them more, thus making them more effective.

Obviously, all numbers would be subject to change, but having reliable abilities would go a long way towards making knight more fun to play.





Oh, most importantly, give knights armor that is Normal to all damage at 45+. Perhaps make it bad vs lightning and good vs blunt.

Barbs as I always imagined are supposed to be attacking blindly and charging at enemy ranks.
I'd allow that by creating a new spell that :
- makes frontal hits to barb -? dmg
- makes backside hits to barb +? dmg
not to overpower this skill it would be active only and only when barb is in motion / running not walking.
This skill would help barbs to charge at enemy ranks and actually get to them (which in recent time Ranged vs Ranged) is very hard.
