Sytis 'owned ' alsius at trelle because you zerg empty forts, get about 20 archers together and pick off the 4-8 players we have before we can even get close (our group usually consists of my lock, about 5 warriors and a hunter, real great for fighting archer zerg yes?). All the fantastic buffs and the most skill in the game cannot beat that. Come play for alsius and know what the situation is like before you come and say things like that. Edit: Damnit Tauc you beat me to it :P

Often the groups we take Trele we have under 10 players, then more show up the longer we hold it, however yes we do have a tendancy to avoid forts with even only 3 people in, I wont give a name but yesterday we were about 15 tracked 5 at Aggers and this player (who is by no means new to the game) said "Ok lets go to Trele" >.<
But... Dont give this Bs of "oh you only kill noobs at Trele come to Aggers and fight us" Im sorry but if theres no high level trying to take Trele back because your standing around Aggers thats YOUR fault, Alsius takes Alga 10 times more than Trele and we come try take it back, not to mention Alsius WZ is about half the size of Syrtis WZ, its not exactly a long run, and with the forts position you tend to just rez at the gate so dont even have to save. So dont moan we go to Trele when Alsius goes to Alga so much more than Herbred. Also I often see Klos, Enio, and other archers I forget the names of at Trele, so dont make out like its just 2 mages and a bunch of warriors, Alsius has the same Issue of having more ranged players than melee players just like the other realms, cept maybe not quite as bad.

From my experience so far from 3 realms (I'll post accurate diary about this experiment when it's finished):
Syrtis - very easy to level on low levels, 30 is reachable in a week or so Ignis - fairly easy to level on low levels, 25 in a week Alsius - lots of running around, takes couple of days to reach level 10 due to time spent running, only level 20 in a week - lots of grinding at low levels Both Alsius and Ignis initiation zones are unplayable with older computers due to the new graphics.

Often when we are headed to Aggers, track, then decide to move to Trele we could still (most likely) win at Aggers, Having the fort is an advantage so less people can fight off more people, but seeing 15 Syrtis go to Trele over Agger because Agger has 6 defenders? Come on...

LOL, good point.
My point was that you have to choose battles that you can win, not to let us farm easy rps and then complain that it was not fair or so. And if you dont have enough power to fight famous Syrtis zerg, try to change tactic, not continuing to bang your heads against the wall 487 times (sometimes that happen at Herb, too). Better go somewhere else and kill some tomatoes, or just go guerilla and fight partisan warfare style. Many possibilities, and you still insist on this one. What do you think that Syrtis zerg at Trelle will do if you stop coming and coming? I bet that they will: 1) get bored and split 2) move to another fort or castle 3) go grind Each variant give you chance to fight, distract or hunt. So, stop hitting your heads against wall and change your strategy according to your strength and capabillities instead of complaining that you would like to fight like you have zerg, but, unfortunate, you cant form it. What are you smoking I got 3 characters to level 30 in Alsius in a week. (Well the 3rd was actually only 26) In Ignis I can get one character to 30 in a week, and I've leveled in Ignis many times. Ignis has by far the fewest quests in the game, Alsius was a piece of cake for me. What makes Syrtis and Alsius by far the easiest realms to level in is the fact that unlike Ignis quests where you chit chat and catch flying mobs for hours and a get shit reward, you have multiple quests with the same objectives. Like 4 quests to kill 12 Hyena, you finish all 4 quests at the same time, and you earned EXP because you were fighting. It's a double snatch, in Ignis we hardly ever have that. |
