Drops

What id like to know is.... where are the "epic" drops that have +7% cast speed and +5% cast speed and +28 dmg... all on same item? Ive seen this before, but am told that it is a "grandfathered" item, and that these are no longer available. Is this true, are they still available, and where can we actually get DECENT epic items?

idk but some1 told me cyclops are worst for loot and drops but are best for finding gems...... btw this is the first time im using forums lols

I have before now, on Arathael, spent five hours killing exclusively Ignean Orc Warriors, Giant Stone Golems, and Cyclops Warrior Masters. These mobs are “Very hard” to a level 50 player. Drop return has been abysmal: Best I managed was a level 37 special staff from the Orcs. Gold return was quite bad too. Loot was reasonable if golem sand, war signets, and cyclops body parts (read: cheap loot) is your thing. I only just managed to profit after item repair costs for each session.

If it is totally random, then if you want to increase your drop rate you just need to kill - unchanleging mobs - vry fast to kill so lots more chances for a drop. This should apply even if the higher your lvl the lower your chance..Might give this a go when i nxt log on.

EDIT: 2 hrs of unchalenging kills...no drops.....30 mins of easy/very easy 4 drops each 10 lvls below mine.

More arrows for the archers is needed in the drop lists..hardly ever get them, and i dont mean 'special' arrows.....just a good selection of what you can buy.

Arrow drops are definitely in short supply

Also the drops from the mob bosses is imho crazy for the amount of effort needed to kill them. You get about 3 times the xp/gp, and prob the same drop chance of an item, as from the normal mob. As it can take 2,3 or more players to kill them....or solo for ages, it makes them generally not worth the effort..An increase of xp + gp is needed for these.

And actual drops as well. I have only once received a drop from a generic leader mob. Admittedly, it was epic. It was also for a level 7 warrior. This was from an "Adult Igneo" (level ~20 mob) leader.

Actually, I don't really agree. I'd prefer to get some random drop that I can sell for gold and then buy the arrows I want. It's better than getting some low-level arrows or even some you can't use until you've leveled up to their level.

I seem to be getting a lot of gear for other classes. Is that normal? And what's the rationale behind this? I got level 50 barb, knight, and conj gear but only 1 level 47 bow.
