If you see 70 syritians pls send a screen I never saw it we was about 30 that day also not many 50s.

There's a difference between being fair and abusing a game mechanism. And in my humble opinion this is abusing a game mechanism.

You say NGD made this possible and that's why using it isn't wrong. Probably it's possible because it got overlooked or it is a bug. It was also possible to get multiple masks from the Halloween quests, but people got banned for that because it was obviously bug-abuse.

you also speak of ban, but the only one that should have been banned is those speedhackers who ran of with the gem ^^

For one, if there was a player who used a speed hack then I sincerly hope that someone managed video or proof of this. As this player deserves and hopefully will get a ban.

As for your attitude, it is this attitude that ruins the game for all. NGD is not some huge corporation with hundreds of programmers, so even if they do know there are bugs out there they can not fix them all in a matter of seconds. For that case, even these huge corporate games have bugs in them, does that make it ok to use the bug/glitch w/e you want to call it to your advantage? If you hnestly think it does make it ok, then this game as a whole does not need you playing it. Turning the game from fair gameplay to a huge advatage to yourself using a glitch or bug is not ok, nor should it be tolerated.

I will give a simple example of this that has nothing to do with the game. Say you are in High School taking and algebra exam. During this exam the teacher has to go to use the restroom, trusting in his students he allows them to stay unsupervised for the few minutes he is gone. During this time, a few of the students decide well hey, We can, so lets do it and share answers with each other. Another student who happens to have a cell phone with a video camera on them (Which is against school policy) decides to video it. Later the student reports it to the teacher. When the dust clears, not only are the ones caught on video cheating given 0's on there tests and other punishments, the other one, who videod by using something that broke school policy also gets punished for there breaking of the rules. To me this is fair, the cheaters did something they knew they shouldn't and we punished for it. There is no room for the excuse of, well I could do it because he left us there alone so it is really his fault not mine.

Now just change the story around here a bit and the same applies. There is no excuse of, well NGD has not yet fixed the problem so it is there fault and not mine. It is your fault, whether NGD was there to stop you or to punish you at the moment it was done or not. Just because something is POSSIBLE does not equate to it is ok to do it.



Edit: It is this attitude showed here that promoted me to make my poll over whether NGD needs to make an official and public statement as to whether or not such actions are considered fair gameplay or ABUSE of glitches and bugs. It does not even have to be a detailed statement, it can be fairly simple and broad. Example... "Any user caught through SUICIDE or MOVEMENT placing a gem in a situation where it can neither be picked up and moved nor the holder attacked by ANY other player is in violation of the gameplay mechanics of Regnum Online. Any such user risks a very steep punishment to be brought down against them."

And yes, I understand with such a statement I risk my own personell experience of crashing and logging back into CS with a Gem that was in Alsius as being viewed as abuse and penalties brought against me. I personally do not think I did anything wrong, but if NGD needs a example for precedant to be set and can use giving me a ban as that example then I am more then happy to volunteer myself to be the sacrificial lamb. I love this game, I do not believe I did wrong nor would I purposefully ever use glitches and bugs to my advantage, but there are many (From ALL realms) who do just this. And I for one am tired of it, it ruins a great game for all of us.

Winning or losing should not be judged from a personell perspective on whether or not you got all the gems or defended the gate. As long as a realm, you work together and try your best you WIN, whether the sheer numbers don't allow you to stop and invasion from happening or not.

There is a huge differance between being outnumbered and choosing to abuse poor game coding.
