Actually, it made sense to me. When someone who posts frequently suddenly stops, people might wonder, is AwD on vacation? Dead? Was his typing finger horribly burned by acid? This way we don't have to wonder.

Oh, and to your last point, I may not give a damn, but I might trade one for magna - make me an offer!
