The problem with Syrtis - Page 2

Yes, I am talking about Horus; I forgot to mention it, sorry. Domino says that this coming and going of new people happens in all the realms. Yes of course but not with the intensity of Syrtis.
Umaril says that there are a lot of "vets" in Syrtis. I know those names but you can only see them when someone shouts "Vesper" or "Eve" and sometimes -as Impp says- when our gates are in danger. If there are so many vets why cannot we put the other realms gates more often in danger? With so many vets we should, right? The level of communication in Syrtis, Horus is a chaos as Impp says, with lots of new people shouting orders when they reach level 30.

Because most of the "vets" are bored with invasions and simply won't be bothered to try it.

It may have something to do with the fact that they suck and they're boring.

No we do other things. Some of us returned to Ra while some prefer smaller scale bridge fights or open field fights. Some grind alts, and that's why you only see their more well known "mains" during boss fights.

That's a false dilemma and faulty logic. There's many things to do in between putting gates in danger and idling at CS all day.

Personally I'd take an interesting bridge war/group hunt/fort war over any invasion attempt. I do think it would be nice to invade for an XP bonus to help our newbies, and I do think that Syrtis needs to be trying more often just for fun, but constantly trying to put someone's gate in danger isn't my idea of fun. So I'm not going to stress out if an invasion doesn't happen.

Anyways, a lot of our players go to alsius/ignis while it's rare to see alsius/ignis players coming to Syrtis.

No, Syrtis has not a bigger Vets base, Syrtis has a bigger NEWBIES base. Ignis has a bigger and more experienced Veterans base than us and they know tactics, not like us. That "bigger" Vets base you are talking about is rarely seen in the wz so for me they do not exist.

Kultu, I rage quit even on syrtis side when we are zerging alsius to much, If you clearly stand no chance its boring as hell, so I go grind or play something else
