Anyone notice threads being closed at an alarming rate?

That is why you were mentioned, youve said much worse in ignis realm chat. I dont need to have conversations with you to read what you spout in realm chat. Your right many disagreed with Vyth but many did it respectfully. Not everyone and it wasnt just you but it was your statement which i found particularly amusing.

Anyway this thread was meant to be about thread being prematurely closed so what do you think about that?

Yes threads are closed, because now actually someone moderates the board which wasn't really the case before

Dky clearly stated when he closed a thread, that such issue should be addressed on e-mail he gave to.
He also stated when he got a Horus mod duty, that all complaints on his moderation should be addressed to that e-mail.
Plus, rule 5.2 of Forum Regulations is not much on your side.

5.2) It's not allowed to question the forum administrators or moderators tasks, as they are decided by NGD Studios, not them. If any of the activities carried out by them may not seem appropriate this could be warned by sending a mail to community@ngdstudios.com.ar and not inside the forums.

I don't believe that me talking about something happening or voicing that i didn't like that it happened because that meant i couldn't be part of the discussion is me questioning his decision to do it. At this point this has been the majority of my use of the forum. I rarely find something on here worth posting on and when i did i found it closed.

If me being upset that i didn't get an opportunity to be part of the discussion on something.

I know everyones knee jerk reaction to something they don't want to read is close the topic. But how about this if you don't want the topic to continue, don't post in it.

I just wanted to add some words to the discussion.
Dky spends most of his "Regnum dedicated" time on Horus, "babysitting" the chats there and answering questions.

For this, he gives up the game itself, since he avoids warring with his GM character since that could be seen as an unfair advantage by other players even if he would make himself lvl 50 and play like any other regular player.

Would you like to make that sacrifice? I would not.
I wouldn't call having to moderate these forums, moderate the chats on Horus and answering questions a "privilegie".

Dky does his best, and I think he is doing a great but (often) thankless job.
Try to put yourself into his situation before you start whining.

PS: The quality of the forums has improved a lot since Dky started as a moderator here.
I don't see how anyone could deny that.

Such 'regulations' are illegal - not to mention violating Article 19 of the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights (Established 1948).

Well, Dky does - on RA, but not on Horus (where he spends like 90% of his time).

Yes, but they have far more Moderators and GMs in other games! Here is a list of gamigo mods, gm, and ga:
3 Moderators for their forum
8 Gamemaster
1 GameAdmin who also moderates the board.
1 Product manager who communicates with the community, gives information
+some other staff members working on Regnum there

Have you ever been to a seriously moderated board? There are much more closed threads than here.

IMO it was a mistake by NGD to recruit just one moderator. Dky is spending way too much time with moderating stuff all alone. He should be able to enjoy the game as other players too!
We need MORE moderators! At the moment I am moderating our board at regnum-online.de alone too. You can't imagine what a crapload of work this is.
So once and for all. Stop complaining about Dky.
