And it can save your life when you're near the door and want to use stunning fist on a warrior who want to cast an area - on Ra due to high number of players, things can go messy and enemies are very hard to select when there is 50 people bashing the door, canceling areas is hazardous

its a really amazing skill but it does need alota points to be effective. +20% damage just isnt enough. not to mention most archers dont max the tricks tree (they usually just take it to lvl15 for confusion)

Due to the fact that RA is the most populated server is common for hunters to kill only grinders, since there are plenty of them. Then, the noobs mimic this behavior, they become pet-dependent and believe that hunters aren't good at war because the pet dies very quickly. There are still many hunters who believe that this sub-class is so named because its function is to hunt down other players. But as Chilko said: Quote:

Given hunters are not meant to be assassins.... Given hunters are not meant to hunt other players.... Why do they have tracking skills? Tracking skills are used to locate other players... right? Given they are called hunters because they have special tracking skills and can "hunt creatures, and tame creatures". So this explains why NGD removed our second enemy tracking skill..... They want us to mainly use (track monster skill) and hunt monsters... assassinate monsters? Track monster skill would be nice if it could also locate an enemy hunters pet. (So far it cannot) Since we are not supposed to hunt players... NGD can you remove track ally and give us another skill to use for attacking or an area crowd control skill. Since we are not supposed to hunt players...NGD can you remove enemy surveillance and give us another skill for attacking or an area croud control skill that we can use in forts.. I don't understand why you give us these tracking skills, then tell us that we are not supposed to use them for tactical rvr combat use. In addition to your comment about pets and large scale rvr combat.... Pet is worthless in RvR for me for several reasons. 1) It is unreliable... a) it takes too long for the pet to attack an enemy compared to a combat skill... b) if the pet dies you lose 70% of your attack power... 2) The skills we have for attacking in short and long bow tree are more useful a) tear apart skill / break apart skill (owns) b) repetition does what no pet can do in a fort war... c) Shield pierce/ dual shot hit targets instantly! |
