Great post.

I'm currently still fighting with myself on the horse front, it would definitely make the game more fun, but then I would carry a brooding sense of resentment that I'd paid more money towards a game that has for time been getting steadily worse. I've already purchased like a million months worth of those cute dinosaur things (for Trix that is, back in the day when the thrill of war was tangible).

But I *WOULD* arrive at fights sooner, and it would be more fun...

But I *WOULD* have parted with *MORE* money, just to like the game slightly better than I do at the moment...

I'll probably cave in eventually. A knight without a horse is like...

Well I can't think of a good metaphor, but I'm failing to get to the action in time even when things do briefly kick off, suffice to say.

Totally in agreement. I have noticed that I have more entertainment now that I can actually GET to where I am needed, but it pisses me off that I had to pay in order to take part in anything past Samal. As I understood it, the premium items were not supposed to leave non-premium buying players high and dry, and yet the horses do exactly that.
