I'm not a massive follower of politics myself, but I did catch quite a lot of the live TV debate, and have to say I was impressed by Nick Clegg, and appalled by Gordon Brown and David Cameron.... so lib dems get my vote

But I would probably have gone conservative.

Suprising that the lib dems have being doing so well all of a sudden, but since they have no real track record in power we have no referance point on how they would acctualy do if voted in. That sad testical Gorden Brown needs to gtfo though...

I'm not a citizen of the UK, nor will I probably ever be, but seeing as they are one of the most influential countries on the planet I do take an interest in their politics. With that in mind, I have a few thoughts and feelings to share.

1) The Labour party needs to change it's name. They aren't a Labour party. They're equivalent to right-of-center Dems in the State and Liberals here in Canada. Neither of those are "labour" parties.

2) The BNP are fn scary. I'm dumbfounded that people still buy into that ideology.

3) Respect Coalition (i.e. George Galloway)
I know a lot of people say a lot of things about George Galloway. He's a lot of things. Firstly he's a big supporter of people like me and that is baller. Secondly he's a great humanitarian, kudos for breaking Israel's Apartheid-style blockade of Gaza. And third, according to the Canadian Minister of Citizenship and Immigration, he's a security risk (Jason Kenney, Minister of CIC here blocked Mr. Galloway from entering Canada on security grounds. He's a sitting member of the British HoC ffs!!)

In conclusion; If I lived in the UK, Respect coalition would have my anti-war, pinko-commie, socialist, environmental, tree-hugging, hippie, anti-racist, anti-nuke, pro-choice vote.
