I think the chances are pretty slim. If you are a dude and you find an interesting woman to talk to you never really know if she is not an old fat naked dude sitting on a giant inflatable person with a laptop.

And if you are a woman, and actual woman, great catch there, you found Tim Magee, only without the looks, has a worse job, and spends al is time playing an online game...your parents will think him very mature.

I know atleast 2 people who "found their love" trough Regnum, but I am pretty sure I would not be able to so I choosed the last option.

For me, RO with friends takes up alot of my spare time and my exhusband absolutely hated it.

Guess thats one reason why he's now an ex.

My vote doesn't really reflect what i think about love in RO, i just had to go for the funniest alternative.

Of course it's possible to find love through a mmo, might even be easier since both persons already have one thing in common.

In my case it's highly unlikely though.
It's a question of distance, finding someone (of the right sex, personality and looks) from the same country or within a 3 hour drive away is not easy for a European player on RA.

Sure some people does not mind long distance relationships but for me that would be the biggest issue.

What I know from my clan history, there were 2 or 3 relationships started in game in our clan. Some of them lasted long, some not, but as far as I know, unfortunately none of those relationships are alive nowadays. One of the couples told me distance is what was a problem (two different countries in USA for example).

I personally do not believe in MMO romances. They do exist but they are usually not longterm ones.

This topic just reminded me on one article I read long ago, "First SMS baby" (I think it was in Sweden, not 100% sure) where couples met via SMS and later started a family.

omg please.....If you need a medium like this to find love then its time to UNPLUG AND GO THE F*&K OUT. Man when i hear people in the game say I'm with this player now. I want to puke in the bushes. Call me old fasion but I like the real thing. What, u meet some women on RO then play the facebook game then spend 500$ to fly probably to USA to meet some trailer trash chick you move in with then sit on opposite ends of the room and keep playing regnum??? Then you get fat and afraid to leave you're trailer then live life how its ment to be. ;lkzdjfklsdjldljk OMG ok I'm leaving this tread hehe

i tend to agree with Male/Solo

i believe in the old fashion way of going out and meeting a girl - I personally couldnt date someone from another country or far distance away - distance Relationships arn't my thing.
