Well you were attacking a knight, they have block chance and evade/resist. If skilled right you can get high block chance and an insane evade chance, but then you basically can't do anything else effective. He could have been in one of those setups.

I`ve started a barb when phantom hits just appear.
I`ve leveled it alone, almost without any parties.
Barb is non-ranged. With Berserk it has 0 evade chance.
Barbs had phantom hits, they have this shitty resist|evade problem.
I didn`t use boosters.

And couple of players approve that I`ve leveled it to 48 very fast. I had a break in cause of some rlife work.
But few days ago I got 49. I spent just two evenings of grinding for it.

So It is possible to grind fast even for nonranged barb with broken combat system!
Yes, during war sometimes your enemies resit spells and evade hits. But wait a minute, you resist enemy spells sometimes too, don`t you?

So stop your whining and just decide to play or not to play.
