Well, this is because I get the less complicated questions and don't have the responsibility to solve them. In case of bug-abuse etc. I have to forward you to NGD, so I am not really giving a direct solution. On the event rewards, I have no sure details on it.

If the stats are anywhere close to mag weapons, expect the biggest swarm of cheap RP whores ever to hit the WZ.

If the stats are just mediocre, expect many pages of complaints and accusations that NGD only wants your money.

If the stats are bad, expect pages of "WURST.EVENT.EVAR" and "FAIL" mixed in with "I was going to fuse it anyway".

If NGD actually answers you Dutch, I hope they wait for the last few days of the event.

i would prefer it if NGD just said nothing about it and let the winners discover for themselves at the end of the event. Personally i would be happy with a shitty bow as long as i can use a fusion scroll with it. I dont think NGD should give out weapons with mag stats too, they way too hard to craft to just give them out like that

Indeed even bows with that kind of appereance I mean ppl do there outmost to get something like a magna bow and now NGD ruin there dream of to be one of the ppl that got one... And now even GIVE AWAY nicer weps

There is already a growing problem with items causing, at the least an imbalance, at worst a deffinate unfair advantage within the game.

As an example, a fight at pp yesterday (i think) involved a number of WTF moments from 4 or 5 players, caused by an als marx (who isnt important as they are just playing with the tools they have, and players from all 3 realms have this advantage) who was hitting fully buffed characters for 300-400 normals and at 1 point an 800 crit. Comparing this to the 50-100 dam the average marx can do vs a fully buffed target and you get the picture.

This is the first time, since I started playing, that I didn't go right back to the battle, but waited at cs trying to work out my options, and realised there were none...if my marx met this als character 1 on 1, there would be no way i could even come close to killing them...and it would be completely down to the gear they have.

If the rewards from this event add even more 'uber' gear, the problem is only going to get worse, and it's allready IMHO pretty bad.

Giving away 'santa hats' is also not the way to go as they add nothing to the game experience, and as alot of the previous event rewards have huge -ve stats are completely pointless after the event...on this note will the football kits also give -ve stats when the event is over ?

From the list of things availiable event rewards should be things frm the premium item list that will have no real impact on character balance..paints, banners, fireworks, hammers, tele + xp scrolls, even mounts (as there are so many out there allready), etc.

I was at this specific skirmish at pp and i have an idea of who this marksman is. I think its fair that players who aquired this "uber-gears" through boss drops and collecting the 5000 magnanites should be able to do that kind of damage. They deserve to. However i have a problem when these items are given away to 32 players for rp whoring and no real effort involved. As it stands, im on the top of my group for the event but i would prefer to earn a magnanite weapon the hard way no matter how long that takes. Thats why im hoping these event weapons are purly for visual purposes (ie a weapon skin that can be fused with your current weapon). Like you said, its not going to add anything to the game experience, but it wont ruin it for others either.
