This seems to be a problem you wont solve without getting more ram. 512mb of ram just isn't enough to run windows and regnum at the same time. if you check task manager you will see windows is using the majority of that 512mb.

Sorry to say this but if you want to play regnum you will need to upgrade your pc.

I had the same (or wery simmilar anyway) problem with other games last year... After reinstalling windows it has gone... But before that i would suggest to try to download CCleaner (yes, two "C"), or some simmilar program and clean up the registry...

I hope that helps a bit, but anyway 512 ram is not quite enough for RO... I would upgrade the pc...

If you didn't install it yet, do so. (you may want to uncheck the "install toolbar" during the instalation, it's useless). When the program is installed, you open it.

On the left side you have a grey column. Click on the "Registry" section. At the bottom click on the button "Scan for issues". When searching finishes, click the "fix selected issues" button.

Small window will pop up, about backing up the changes. I recommend you to save it somewhere. After this another window will open up. Select the "fix all issues" and there we go. now click "close" and exit the program

I hope that helps

PS. Yes, regnum might have a minimum of 256 ram, but on minimum configuration and the playability might be reduced...

When I on my old laptop upgraded from 512 MB RAM to 2 GB, somehow my lag was reduced.
