Why waste your time chasing someone logging in and out when he's clearly just toying with you? There is no reason really, other than an rp fetish or boredom. If it were the latter, I don't see how sitting there waiting for someone to log back in just to log out again would be entertaining... whatever their reasoning, they didn't have to pursue him. So why are you angry at him? I feel that a facepalm directed at the Syrtians would be more appropriate for doing exactly what he wanted.

EDIT 2: When I first seen the thread btw I thought it would be a screenshot of people running too far from the fort (guilty but no where near as much as a lot of people). Tell peeps to get back, using the angry eyes helps ;p

I didn't realize this was an argument. All I said was that I can't believe you'd admit to doing that, I consider it mechanics abuse, and that I wish NGD would ban you. There's not much to argue about there, as they're all my personal opinions.

There are other reasons, if the only reasons for wanting to kill someone are RP and boredom, why does anyone war at all? Personally I would do it just because I know that if you let someone get away with abusing mechanics like this, they're bound to do it again. Thorndike's law of effect and all that...

I'm more of an eagle scout, but only because the forum won't let me post in all caps.
