iPhone vs Android vs Blacberry - Page 2

Before that I had a Nokia E71X and Nokia 5800. I also used Ericsson phones before they began using the Sony Ericsson moniker in the late 90s when they were just phones and didn't have much in the way of multifunction capabilities.

Reason I went with the Evo is I got big hands and wanted something bigger than the 5800 to tap on - the landscape touch keyboard on the evo has bigger buttons than all but the ancient qwerty phones. Then when I got the Evo I just have to talk to the thing in order to make it search, I think that is the most awesome function. Plus the OS plug-ins in Android 2.2 are pretty integrated, though it still could use a lot of polish.

I think a Symbian user from an Android viewpoint would be seen in a similar light as the black berryuser if they werent going to upgrade to meego when more phones come out. I know symbian 3 is out, but it is still playing catchup to everyone else.

I think from the picture the pizza guy is supposed to represent a snot nosed teenager that doesn't have a real job.

I had an iPhone... hated it. I crossed over to Blackberry and i've been satisfied ever since.

Android of course. I still have my HTC Magic. It's a low end device but still can run FroYo. So it has all I need.
I'm in love with Android

I also have my own Android Blog. For now the content is just available in German though.

This is my current phone and I love it, its just as powerful as most of those netbooks out there and I love the open sourceness!!

Sorry if this is a little off topic, but I'm thinking of getting the new Windows Phone, the HTC HD7. Does anyone have one / would recommend / criticise or anything?

It is almost the same exact phone as an HD2 except for: win 7 mobile, capacitive buttons, and I think your version in the UK will have 16gb of non-expandable storage.

Criticism is that it has a small battery so unless they did some major battery boosting features (based on my experience with my evo that is almost the same specs, cept better camera and larger battery) I doubt you will get a full days use out of it before having to charge it. Its like the Evo and HD2 got together and the result was the HD7. The one thing that you may like is the large screen, it makes reading easier.

i have my main phone one IPhone 3S..but i want one IPone 4.Also i have one HTC Desire with Adroid and my old phones LG KP500(cookie) and Sonyerrikson W950 with Symbian UIQ3.Anyway i like all of them and i cant comapare styles an oses.

I agree with you, currently I m more for Android than any other options. Though it could be worth waiting Nokia's Maemo and see how it will go (so far only on 1 phone available AFAIK).

Maemo is indeed available only in N900 and it won't come to any other phones either, since it's been replaced by Meego, which is developed together with Intel.
