I was actually thinking about a switch to Linux for some of my home systems and I thought that I should look up a MMO to play there. I wanted a free to play title and I saw Regnum Online top of the list. I am here till now. Google search

) It looked good for me, so I tried RO. Still playing after over 3 years

Found this from ubuntu forums while searching for Linux games. I've always been a fan of RPG's, so I decided to try the game out once I got a computer that could run it.

I think I remembered seeing it mentioned in some off-hand post on the Planeshift forums. That was back when I had discovered Planeshift, and was waiting.....and waiting.....and waiting.....and waiting.....and hoping.....and waiting some more.....and waiting....for the game to grow and hopefully improve.

Alas, I think it's about the same now as it was 5 years ago, or gotten a little worse. Granted I haven't checked in on the place in a good 2 years or so.

I was on Wikipedia reading this list of MMORPG's and Regnum instantly caught by eye for being non-Korean and having a medieval fantasy setting.

I googled "free to play wow type game", Regnum came up on the second page (I always jump to the second page when I search) Installed it on my crappy pc I had at the time and I was hooked.
