Raven is still a North American server and is advertised as one. Nothing has changed besides that people all over the world aren't blocked anymore. Just like any other North American server from other MMORPGs. You're just overreacting.

My comment was more towards your remark of all of Alsius moving to Raven, and I simply said a lot of the night crew from Ignis are beginning to join Raven, has nothing to do with numbers.

Im assuming when said that purely meant that in technical terms it is capable i.e. they have the server power (big $) to uphold the players of 3 Ra's.

Well, durr, it's not like the whole Ignis night crew consists of American players who'd like to play on an American server. Like 5 of them moved to Raven. Most are still on Horus or play on both servers.

GameSamba/NGD announced Raven as a North American server. Then a month later they announce it as international. I don't dislike people from other countries coming to play, but I do dislike the way the server was advertised.

It's still an American server just like Ra is a Spanish server but everyone can still play there.

I think the whole concept of who runs a server and who's allowed to access it is wrong:

1st: Number of servers. I think i dont have to say much here in order to convince someone that the current number of servers is more than needed to handle the demand for service (in other words, players are not enough to support this game on so many servers). Result is empty servers (its not only Horus that's empty) which ruins every aspect of PvP and especially RvR. Many of the complains i see in this forum about gameplay mechanics that "suck" or "imballance" or "name-it" would vanish on a crowded server...

2nd: Distinction of servers by nationality/spoken language. This is something quite unique for this game, at least i never saw this kind of distinction anywhere else, please prove me wrong here. I would understand some sort of distinction to avoid enormous lags, but nothing more than that. All that is needed is something like separate servers for Asian and Australian people since (by experience) those players lag the most when connecting to european/american servers. due to the way those continents are interconnected to the rest of the world (http://image.guardian.co.uk/sys-imag...SeaCableHi.jpg)
