I'm noticing the same, before I had around 64 fps on very low quality without particle FX activated and Pipeline 2.. Something like that.

Now it dropped to 30 to 40.. Around the same settings :/

this my fps now rarely is more than 1

i'm seriously wondering why you'd post your framerate problems in someone's goodbye thread.

You should read the original post. He left the game because of his frame rate.

By the way, as has been stated by NGD before, Fixed pipeline will be *faster* than safe mode. Safe mode is a special diagnostic mode mostly designed to resolve crashes, not to give good performance. It actually disables all of the speed optimizations that fixed pipeline has.

So I recommend that anyone who is having FPS problems to disable safe mode.
