OT: You can't really say that one realm is composed of entirely noob/pro/solo/zerg population, as every realm has its own experienced players, annoying players etc.

As I see it, all realms are somehow equal in the ratios of good/bad players, it's just that syrtis has the most players, followed by alsius and last (but not least :P) ignis.

So, If you enjoy solo hunting, and live in europe, you should go for less populated realm, to be able to hunt more people.
If you live in american timezone, and like invasions, join one of the more populated realms, you will get more action...

This is all just my oppinion, I'm sure plenty of players will disagree with me

It really depends just on you which realm to join. Other things to consider are what type of background you like (desert - ignis, pine forests and snow - Alsius, or green trees and meadows - Syrtis..)
