wohh Fun!

I hope you fixed the purpose of the purple spiders. Their 'purple fever spell' didn't actually infect you.

It seemed that players just got randomly infected (or when other infected players were near ofc)

So you don't have to be forced to go to Facebook..

A plague of purple spiders are spawning all over the world. They infect anyone they bite with the Purple Fever. The infected players can transmit the disease by proximity to other players. If infected population of any Realm is higher than 50%, the Realm’s guards will become ill and the Realm will have their gates broken. Once the Invasion timer (red) reaches zero, all the population will be instantaneously cured, so it can all start again.

As long as the player is sick with the Purple Fever, he’ll transmit the disease to his allies, which will be dangerous for the realm itself. Note that this status won’t affect the player’s stats.

There’s going to be 3 quests available to get a cure:

• 2 available at the Realm’s Gate. This will give a temporal equipable medicine that will allow players to cure their allies and be immune to the Purple Fever. This quest is targeted for high level characters.

• 1 at the Main City. This will give 3 consumable medicines that will cure the player but not his allies.

The infection due to proximity is completely intentional!

Thanks, I would have posted it myself but my current employer put up an ip-block to everything closely related to facebook.

This event sounds like it would suck for new players trying to level their first character.

Any news of any new premium items released with this event like than templar costume? I want it.

I dislike this event, it's nearly 24/7 open realm. I hope it will never come back.

lol the gates will never break :P

Only 1 guy from the realm has to cure himself and the % will never be 100%...

Wasn't it like 50% last year? please fix ;P
