In any case,I think Frosk answered good enough and the evidence that I have regarding my own repairs leads me to agree with him. I do not think that the alleged exponential curve was replaced with a straight line one either. I don't think they did anything at all.
You simply collected more damage because you lived longer, took more damage because you could tank and stayed at the locations longer. Thank the draconic gem for your repair bill. Regards |

You know, Hammers are pretty cheap. I keep a couple on Mamiya whereever I go.

In my opinion the better the item is, the quicker it is needed to be repaired.
But that doesn't bother me much 'cause I use those cheap hammers of repair. That's a kind of premium item that doesn't screw up balance.

The trick is to never let your item durability go into the reds. I seriously doubt your gear can take on that much durability in a few fort wars.
Funny story. I remember when the winners of that World Cup event in 2010 were finally awarded their prizes. I was so excited to test out my shiny new bow on an unchallenging goblor lurking around the market only to find that the bow's durability went from full to zero after firing one arrow. It had a lovely 300k repair bill too. A day later NGD announced that they fixed the bug that caused these weapons to break so fast. So NGD... I'm still waiting for my reimbursement.
