I'm using this since I just can't handle any barbarian with a very slow hammer and without any attack speed leggings in PvP scale. Very slow weapon also don't do so much more damages so it's better to get faster attack speed.

All offensive hand weapon are medium attack speed. So only the main hand weapon makes the difference, it can be only "slow" or "medium" and maybe "fast" on low level weapons.

I didn't made tests in arena with other players but we are used to say that medium offensive hand weapon + medium main hand weapon does a medium attack speed and medium offensive hand weapon + slow main hand weapon makes something like an attack speed between medium & slow (I think it's more close to "slow" attack speed than medium one).

In the few PvPs I made even with draconic gem, I have to say that attack speed > normal gear/armor gear. Attack speed is really important factor since the patch of War Master and the implementation of offensive hand weapons that can be engraved with attack speed gems.

A good realm barbarian friend have offensive hand sword with 2 x 7% attack speed and leggings +5% attack speed, he's really hard to handle. His amount of attack speed is obtained like this : 2x7% from off hand sword + 2x5% from lighting rings + 1x5% from leggings + 15% from Thirst from blood, I let you do the sum.

Thanks for the info Tigerious! The rings is the only thing I have with a.s. but that's it. I have been looking at the AH but I have seen nothing even close to that. Those items with such a top a.s. must be real difficult to find. I suppose that they come from (a lot of) platina boxes. I am afraid I can't afford that....

If you want to dual wield i would suggest you spent some WMC on the 1h
wm knight weapons, they are on par with good magic elite knight weapons
in terms off dmg and is a good alternative. Use the few funds you have to
get a really good off hand weapon.

But gluffs, I am a barb not a knight. Strange is that they dont have 1h weapons for barbs. Or am I missing something?

As a barb you can use all 1h weapons that are marked as warrior weapons. And there are no 1h barb weapons.

EDIT: You might find this useful: http://regnumonline.com.ar/forum/sho...40&postcount=1

Like Hopeakettu said, all 1h weapons that has requirements "warrior" can
be used by both Knights and Barbarians, the Master Knight weapons can be
a bit missleading for players but they have the requirement for warrior.

So you can get any Warmaster 1h weapon and use it as a barbarian, and it
is the only lvl60 1h hammer available for Barbarians since the Elite Knight
Hammer/Mace is knight only.

Ah thanks gluffs! I see it now. Very weird that a Master KNIGHT sword can be used by a Barbarian. They should change it by WARRIOR. Also it would be better to put the specification 1h or 2h right before the name of the weapon. Just to avoid misunderstandings

Reading it back I dont know if I understand correctly what you say.
I am standing by the merchant and all the weapons with the KNIGHT name on it are for Warriors. Does it mean that a Barbarian can use all of them as well??
