the game ups your stats when you lvl automaticly so you only get to spend those 5 points you get at the start

I personally dont like marksman a lot, because I find the class hard to grind
and I just prefer being a mage.. so its all on me for not trying harder
many others do love playing marksman, dont ask me why

I do like hunter, mainly because of the pets (you can name those with /pet_name (fill in the name you wanna give))
yet its very hard to damage good w/o the pet.

I play 4 archers. on 2 of 'em i have over 4k HP, those are the ones i never have problems with. On my lowest marx i hardly have 3k HP, see what i mean under lack of HP?

I think it might have something to do with them being ridiculously overpowered and capable of beating any other class in a 1on1 with little to no effort. Also you do not require a fully functional brain to play this class.

Every class has it's pros and cons. It depends on your style.
There's no sense in grinding a barb when you prefer range style and the other way around.
Just try a few different classes and decide then what is most fun for you.

I do agree with Van about hp via the +5 constitution.

That's why my current setup doesn't even have Parabolic shot, Serpent bite or Lightning arrow.

On-Topic: Every class is useful, some overpowered, depending on situation. For example, Hunter is OP at ganking, but a buzzing fly elsewise.

Chose the race and the class which suit you best, don't worry about stats...
