this would nullify the significance of choosing your realm, i dunno if any ever played
'leage of legends' (or know of it) but it would turn into a similar thing where you just team up with random players

afterall.. we play our realms with our friends, as much as i enjoy chatting with other realms
i enjoy playing with my friends more, if either they or i play another realm for a day..
well its just not as much fun
so as i said, would be great for an instance idea

If only the issue of multi realming and balancing was this simple.

The idea that NGD can make (potentially) more revenue from multirealming keeps this interesting. If NGD go easy on multirealming they can boost revenue while actually not have to concern themselves with making new content quite as often.

In short, I do not think that this will solve a problem that you identified.

There are superior ways like a wizard to help new players select their realm and inducements to hold to a particular realm like through time investment based and accumulated realm contribution based rewards and achievements.

This idea couldn't hurt and might help. No one has always disliked multi-realmers more than me, but there has always been a large number of them and since the forced merger probably twice the number.
Personally I've always considered dual-realming cheating, but since its so prevalent now it only seems fair to allow this option if for no other reason than to balance the scales so all have an equal advantage in choosing which realm they want to play.
I always wished NGD would enforce their own rules and ban multi-reamers and since the destruction of raven with the merger it would not even be possible so why should only about half the players get to choose which realm to play while others don't.
Apparently this is just another accidental imbalance NGD created with the poorly thought out merger.

they grind max 20 lvl - will see what the realm strongest and go to create new acc.

If NGD banned all players with 2 accounts each being on different realms, there would be no-one to play the game.

fact is everyone wants to be an arrow slinging elf with orlando bloomish looks, though this isnt really accomplished its still as close as people get so anyone wanting to be an elf that hasnt had a run in with willy wonkas meal chewing gum and turned a nasty shade of purple. The only option in syrtis. Also making them out in the lore to be the good guys doesnt help.
