CTF on Haven ?

Didn't know this alliance still existed, we've been battling Alsius all week. Syrtis seems dead, and we're the low populated realm, go figure.

Let's be honest. Your initial argument was stupid. Your second argument is equally stupid. You should just stop posting in any thread, because again, let's be honest, your opinion is full of shit. Just don't take part in any discussion that involves balance as your logic, well what logic, there is none. So, in CTF, 2 realms can win? What benefit does an alliance have in CTF?

As for the alliance, outside of the instances, this is not of importance in this thread. There is no benefit to any 2 realm alliances in the instances.

I've queued up for CTF various times, Scias. I still haven't been able to try it but from what you have said, it certainly sounds more balanced than the TDM map. I would like to give it a try though!

I don't roll for CTF because quite simply the chances of getting a match are very slim. The real problem is that everyone else thinks the same way which ironically is the reason for the chances of getting in being so slim.

Got really sick of TDM's.Ignis has always like 4+ barb in every TDM.

I assume, this is sarcasm.

@Nohan, I second what Awrath wrote. Ignis/alsius alliance was perhaps present during the time when Syrtis was riddiculously overpopulated, farming our forts. At the present time, I'm not aware of anything similar going on (although I admit, that I don't join fort wars much recently).


On the original topic - I'd like to try CTF sometime - but as some wrote, the overall trend on Haven dictates only TDM instance - perhaps someone could coordinate a CTF attempt sometime?

What he's saying is 100% true. Ignis always seems to have well structured teams. A well structured team consists of lots of barbs and a few conjurers, maybe a knight or two. Which is most likely the reason Ignis wins the large majority of the death matches.

In Alsius we would be lucky to have more than three barbs in a team. Syrtis seems to have a number of barbarians too but I'm noticing that alot of them are just terrible at playing the barbarian class. Flavor of the month re-rollers I'll assume.

Its sad that the quality of your team is based on how much barbarians you have on it. It just proves how blatantly overpowered this class is.

I personally would very much enjoy a CTF match. its not a kill fest, it actually requires some level of skill to play, and even to a further extent requires some "strategy" that is many many times over non existent in a Deathmatch game.

I welcome a CTF match awrath. Let me know when.

First couple of days/weeks Syrtis were the ones with all the barbs in TDM and no one could do anything. Now Ignis and don't forget Alsius is perfectly capable of bringing up a team full of conjurers, barbs and knights. It's all random depending on the day, week or hour. So really, the main issue here isn't realm balance, it's class balance being there's too many barbs queuing for TDM. Which is why there should be class restrictions. Like just for example: 3 barbs max in one group, 3 marks max in one group, 2 conjurers max in one group etc.

i like the idea, but that could make it harder to get enough people for a fight in Haven, not many people queue and with all the restrictions could be hard to get enough
