You're right about Confuse and SoftW. However, my main point is to show the possible usage of the so called useless spells.

i did actually. A Warlock begun missing a lot of spells on me. But well the randomness of the game gets inaccurate results. As I think Miss Chance and Hit Chance are different, when applying Blindness to a person, his Hit Chance doesn't decrease. The good thing about Miss Chance that it apploes for spells, which can be useful at times. As a Conjurer, I wish Shifting Silhouette was a self buff.

I've tested curse and blindness (both at level 4) before. It worked really well... in a controlled environment.
