I don't think bois could have said it better.

I'd put all the staff on debugging.

Tell the staff to talk and consult with the community more often. Surprises can be nice, unless you receive a kick in your balls.

Attributes, races, realms aspects revised and renewed. I would honestly remodel the map if necessary.
Item,drops, jewellery balances. And imo, lucky boxes shouldn't be stronger than drops. I, in my opinion, would give them weaker stats. Sb + 27, +15 +15 +5 dex and +15 gem? Not to mention ALWAYS an archer with jewellery has it. That isn't an archer. That's a barb. Ehh...that goes to class balance, BUT STILL!)

And what bois said. Seriously, I dare for someone to top it off.

Dupa makes a good point. Since the merger , NGD has acquired staff and does seem to be quite top heavy in the artist department.

Those members of staff would have to be "realigned" in order to provide balance.
This is quite obvious by the nimble execution of some visual projects. I suspect a few more artist projects are there waiting for the core developers to get time to integrate and test them.

Interesting topic .

I would begin by agreeing with the fact that the whole process of choosing your subclass is unnecessary and can be removed. Start as one of 6 subclasses and continue from there. With that will come the opportunity to split shared trees and have separate trees for every subclass. This will then allow for spells to be balanced for individual subclasses, for example defensive support can have a lower speed malus for knights than barbs.

I would also open up a section on the main website whereby people can submit quest ideas and be rewarded for any that are accepted. While on the issue of quests, I would remove the limit of 5 quests, increase the XP obtained from quests and attempt to make the quests a bit more unique per realm rather than the same quests with just different NPCs.

I'd add a merchant to every city, move WM quest NPCs to the wall, move the auction house closer to the central save, so that it's actually used!

Fix the distribution of XP/RP for contributing to a fight.

I'd take into account the views of the community on the most unused spells, for example camouflage corpse and take on board ideas for spells from the community which can replace these unused spells without ruining balance, thus adding more dynamic game play and more variation in set-ups.

Armour will be revamped, removing absolute damage reduction and changing to percentage based, and adding some modifiers for each subclass such that a knight doesn't take the same damage as a mage. This will then allow easier balance of DPS, boss gear/premium gear and class damage differences.

I would hire more staff to deal with tickets and answering emails, hire more coders to iron out bugs. While on the topic of bugs, I would make sure each bug report is investigated and whether the team is able to reproduce the bug or fails to reproduce the bug, some feedback is provided in that bug report, so that the player base is informed of progress on that report.

Fix the mage class! Make intelligence increase damage of spells and not just normal hits on a staff. Scale heals for more intelligence also. (Basically the brilliant ideas in Scias' thread).

I would also add droppable amulets and rings which would be less powerful than boss amus/rings but lessen the gap between boss gear and non boss gear.

I don't know anything about programming, but I would fix that damn RNG!

and linuxmage had some nice ideas with beastmaster too (i hate rogue 1 hit kill, tho absurd )

1. I would update the site, it needs more CoR and less Regnum before warmasters
I would also ask of the playerbase to make vids for their realm, make it a contest
the best vids (of wars/realm) would be posted on the site and the top 3 of the realm
would get a xim reward.

2. would be to improve the AI in the game so guards would have high priority targets (for example)
mobs would magically get smarter too so..

3. new instances for party's/clans where you fight versus (smart) mobs to reach a target
(say treasure) higher chance of dropping in this instance and a goldreward to finish it
lets say every saturday/sunday the ability to 'race' this instance vs other realms party/clans
(5v5v5/10v10v10)
{instanced defending/attacking an area, 1 realm defends 2 try to break in with a time limit,
defender wins if the building isnt captured or the realm who captures wins)

4. revamp of the clan system. Give clans not just a chat but ability to 'make a name'
-clanrankings back and not hidden- 'making a name' by doing wars, winning instances/arena matches..
clanbank, clanhall/meeting area/house or something a clan can create/contribute to in the game
overall just more clanstuff (a lot of awesome suggestions in that lil part of the forum called suggestions )

5. more warzone content. captureable (or ability to raid) towns, mines or enemy merchants
with the reward of xp/gold
defending such places for xp/gold
well maybe a different kind of reward thats actually more rewarding..

6. more stuff to buy as a WM (like clothing, tradeable horses that last for a week?)
and being able to put alsius/ignis/syrtis logo on your tunic/armor/shield
either by xim, champcoins or wmcoins.. just the option to look like your realm would be cool


well i could go on and on about distribution of xp/rp/drops *contribution gone if player uses a spell /rage*
and looks and funny emotes.. but ill imit myselft to 6 weird topics

Since many of you mentioned suggestions that have already been said MANY times before...

First, I'd start reading through these 142 pages properly, then I'd sort out ideas that have been liked by players, then I'd implement them ALL ASAP.

Easy three steps, that's all we need and all this game needs to be done!!
