if someone is willing to suffer so much that they can cope with the planeshift quest system, they should be able to adapt a new fighting system
no really, its not point and wait. your success depends on when you use which skills. esp in RvR later |

What are u talking about? Bah, mob killing... that's not the game, that's the intro, just to lvl up and gain some knowledge on power usage. Believe me, when u get to the game u won't just be point and clicking... you'll also run... a lot... you'll punch warlocks and get behind them... and get behind him again... and again... and HELL, SOULKEEPER!!! you'll develop an extraordinary sense of your keyboard, and you'll train strange gymnastic movements with you fingers... if you are a good player, or else you'll watch powerless getting yourself knocked down, then having a dizzy cast, then some cannot attack or cannot move spell and then... revived at altar, press "Q" in some direction and start over again... and I'm not telling the whole story... you'll punch your keyboard in despair while a little dwarf runs from the end of the world and still is able to get you, you'll throw your mouse against the wall while u scream LAAAAG, and last but not least, you'll wish not get banned from the forum for using abusive language because you got killed at Samal 3 times in a row in a fairy elves attack by... alsius goats that caught you from behind... REGNUM ROCKS! (when I'm winning)

Okay, I just downloaded and joined the game.
Valorius has changed her mind about the Order of Daggers moving to Regnum, at least for now. I am Ennon Galita-Shamoi in-game, in Syrtis (OoD base). Sorry guys :P Cheers! |

I understand that many members of your clan are Linux users as me.
I've checked it and sadly we got a very little choice for free 3d mmorpg's and those are : Planeshift and Regnum ! I have played Planeshift, and except the graphics I didn't like it. Regnum Rules ! but if I were a windows user I would play different mmorpg games as hero and cal online and about 100 other free mmorpgs. Thanks NGD for thinking about the Linux users ! |

I have played planeshift for quite some time now as peacer, I got tired of how the system changed, tired of the community, slow stuff, annoying players. Only a few players and my guild were worth hanging around for. But oh well, so we moved here too.
I have seen some of you in game already . Mostly Drah |

Oh yeah, we definatly need a game that is Windows and Linux. I will be using Ubuntu myself.
But, anyways, we have now officially moved to Regnum! (hooray!) Guild is the Order of Daggers, leader (queen) is Valorius, our second-in-command (princess) is Romaria. Last edited by hong_kong_man; 08-09-2007 at 01:15 AM. |

I won't be on though.
My Regnum Windows client is pretty much crap. It doesn't want to load. I'm going to get a copy of Ubuntu Linux in the mail sometime in the next 2 weeks or so, and I'll be using that to play Regnum. Yes, I'm yet another Linux user in my guild. Also my internet isn't that great, so I get LAAAAG. I'm still Level 3 because of that. Anyways, see you all soon! |

I hope that on top of all your problems you don't have an ATI videocard (on Linux), because if you do like me, then you are really screwed and able to play only in safe mode.
